Q. I have an lg optimus l9 p769 phone and i want to know how to play the music from my phone into my radio
A. One of four ways depending on what features your stereo has.
1. AUX input. Simple, easy, analog audio. It looks like a headphone jack on your stereo. Get an AUX cable (headphone jack on bot sides) and connect it between your phone and car. You change songs directly from the phone.
2. USB input. Plug the phone in with your USB charge/transfer cable that you normally use on the computer. Often the stereo will read the song and artist names and you can navigate them like folders directly off of the stereo. You may have to change a setting on your phone to make it work. This will also charge the phone when it's plugged in.
3. Bluetooth. Look for the bluetooth symbol on the stereo. Pair up the device wireless with the car stereo. It's easy, but it hurts your battery and the audio quality isn't quite as good as the other two options.
4. If you don't have any of those features you have to use an FM transmitter. Sadly they suck. They plug into the phone and tune into an empty radio station. They have lots of interference and sound kinda fuzzy all the time. Additionally they cut out a lot and you always have to re-tune them if you're driving long distances.
