Q. I have Droid Incredible 2 in brand new condition and i know that the phone is about 2 years old i think. What i have as far as software information is : Android Version 2.3.4. Is there a higher version for this phone. I go to setting and system update but when its checking it just goes away. No you are up to date or showing the next update. A. Nope. Verizon and HTC literally screwed up on updating the phone to Android 4.0.4. They promised to update it last August of 2012. Well, you can see how that went since you're obviously still on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread. The only way to update at this point is to root your phone (which is going to be hard since you're obviously up to date as well). Hope this helped.
