How would you rate the Samsung Transform. Do you recommend a different sprint phone?

Q. Can is do video chat?
How is the video chat?
Does it ever freeze?
On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate it?
Have you had any problems with it?
Would you recommend a different Spring Android phone instead?
Is the GPS good?

A. The phone is not so great. As a matter of fact, Sprint in general is not so great. The front facing camera is almost useless. The only video chat app that somewhat works is Tango. There is a huge lag time w/ video and you cannot hear because there's a loud electronic feedback sound that doesn't stop. Yes it freezes. There's a problem where sometimes the phone is unresponsive to touch (can't answer phone calls, or do anything). The GPS/Navigation has been pretty good so far. Sprint had promised an Android 2.2 update before the end of 2010...the update is still not available. Froyo may solve some of the problems us Transform owners are experiencing. Seems like the EVO 4g is the best phone sprint has going, but you have to pay an extra $10/ month to have a 4g phone whether or not you can get 4g service.

Is there a good free Office Communicator App for Android?

Q. I have an iPhone 4 and I found an app called "Fuze Messenger" that works perfectly for Office Communicator and is free. However, my boss downloaded a couple of different apps for his Android phone (Dell Streak) and they didn't work.

Does anyone know of a good free or cheap (preferably free) app that will let him connect to Office Communicator on his Android phone?
