Q. I just got rid of my DROID X and I want something better. The Motorola Defy looks cool but it lacks other stuff.
I want something with 4g and a high resolution camera like 8mp. And all of the standard android available apps.
The perfect phone would be a mix of all, indestructible, 8mp or better camera, 4g, and a large touch screen. Size of DROIDX. Maybe even face time camera on the front.

Is it possible to change/replace the camera a phone comes with?
Q. Hello!
I bought a cell phone online which is an android. I don't have a problem with it. I basically use a phone for texting, calling, and some social sites. Nothing else, the phone meets these uses perfectly.
The only thing I don't like is the camera, it is 2MP when online I read it brought an 8mp camera, I am not too knowledgeable in this but I'm guessing this is why the camera is so low when it comes to picture resolution.
I want to know is it possible to install a new camera the same way screen is replaced when broken or malfunctioning?
I'm 21, I wouldn't want to spend more money on another phone when this one is fine enough for what I use it the most, Is it possible?

A. Unfortunately no, not really. The hardware and software work together in phones so you can't just upgrade various parts, unless you're an engineer and software developer too.
