Any good android phones?

Q. Hi! I'm looking for an android phone and this going to be my first android phone. I'm looking for one that has good battery life, video calling, micro SD card slot,16GB or HIGHER, and good camera like 8MP.. When I say video calling I mean a thing Like FaceTime like apple has. My carrier is AT&T. It doesn't have to be 16GB or higher it would just be nice to have one.

A. The Samsung Galaxy 3 or HTC are good phones, but don't come close to a good Iphone 4S or 5.! (You can get upwards of 10-15 Mbps downloads on AT&T 4G LTE..depending on signal strength.) With a GSM carrier like AT&T, you can also talk and surf at the same time.....(Can't do that with Verizon or other CDMA carriers..!)

A. Well the best right now is the HTC Droid Incredible. IT has Android, 8MP Camera, 1ghz snapdragon processor, 3.7" screen, and a whole bunch of nerdy tech specs. But I think it's the best right now. Actually i don't think it is...It is.

The LG Ally is the Iron Man 2 phone. It's pretty nice, Just like the Incredible but with a keyboard. It also has android, but doesn't have HTC Sense like the Incredible.

Also there should be a Blackberry Storm3.

Also Verzion said they're coming out with 3-5 LTE 4G phones by May 2011. But you can't wait that long and I feel like Verizon may not be able to deliver on their promise. They're trying to steal the thunder from Sprint since their first 4G phone comes out in 2 weeks.

The so call upgrade from the IP5 to the IP5S are at best cosmetic. The IP5S is still a Dual Core phone the THIRD DUAL CORE PHONE WITH AN 8MP CAMERA IPHONE.

There is no comparison it is a win win win situation. As I don't know all the arguments put forward for a fingerprint scanner by Apple I can replicate the effect with the security provided by the 2 Anti theft Samsung and the free standalone anti theft installed.

What is the best android phone out right now?

Q. I just got rid of my DROID X and I want something better. The Motorola Defy looks cool but it lacks other stuff.

I want something with 4g and a high resolution camera like 8mp. And all of the standard android available apps.

The only thing I don't like is the camera, it is 2MP when online I read it brought an 8mp camera, I am not too knowledgeable in this but I'm guessing this is why the camera is so low when it comes to picture resolution.

I want to know is it possible to install a new camera the same way screen is replaced when broken or malfunctioning?

I'm 21, I wouldn't want to spend more money on another phone when this one is fine enough for what I use it the most, Is it possible?

Can you still use a non activated smart phone?

I am looking to replace my iPod touch, I was wondering if I could use a smart phone that is not activated to use apps from the android market and use the rest of the phones utilities except calling. The reason that I don't want to activate it, if you must know, is simple: I have a phone and I don't want to pay for smartphone Internet. Nor do I want a no contract phone.

Also what smart phone would you recommend? Preferably onewith an 8mp camera.

Q. okay, so my carrier is Sprint. I plan to get a new phone this December. so, what is (in your opinion) the best phone on the market for Sprint and why? A. the evo 3D hands down, not only is the 3D cool as hell but the phone just works great its running threw newest android and the newest HTC sense. the new htc sense has an app that comes on the phone that will let you lock your phone, track your phone, erase it, also lets you make it ring incase you lose it at home. things like that its free and well if i ever lose my phone its great to no thats tehre you can lock the phone so when the person that has your phone looks at it you can have your own message on the screen like "hey dude you got my phone call me" then the only number they can dail is the number you put in (on your computer) ok moving on to the phone its self. well the phones great is has a 3D camera for both video and photos which yes you can turn off to shoot normal videos and photos, also the camera works real nice i had the old htc incredible and it had a 8MP camera which i loved the evo only has a 5MP camera but still works great. video looks nice and smooth then you have the front facing camera which works with apps like qik which allows you to video chat with people wether there using android or iphones i use it to talk to my wife on her iphone when we are apart. then you have the speed of the phone its running a 1.2ghrz dual core proccesser if you dont no that that means people talk about how fast the droid 2 is well thats running a single 1.2ghrz proccesser the evo 3D has 2 of those meaning the phones operating system (android) will run off one of the processer along with some other apps leaving you to use the other proccessor for gaming surfing things like that so your phone wont slow down. i watched a video of a guy testing the evo 3D vs the evo 4G and another phone i think it was the droid or thunderbolt or something and he had an app that would test your phones speed by running a test the evo 3D finished the test and showed results before the other 2 even finished the test and the evo 3Ds numbers were alot better. there are lots of apps and well i just love the phone im not the biggest fan of sprint but so far i have no issues i had verizon but it cost way to much sprints doing the job just wish there 4G was faster sprints 4G was tested the other day and other carriers 3G speeds were as fast as sprints 4G but thats off topic hope this helps i no i went on but sorry

The LG Ally is the Iron Man 2 phone. It's pretty nice, Just like the Incredible but with a keyboard. It also has android, but doesn't have HTC Sense like the Incredible.

Also there should be a Blackberry Storm3.

Also Verzion said they're coming out with 3-5 LTE 4G phones by May 2011. But you can't wait that long and I feel like Verizon may not be able to deliver on their promise. They're trying to steal the thunder from Sprint since their first 4G phone comes out in 2 weeks.

Q. Ive owned every iPhone, and have always loved apple products, but android phones have recently seen large improvements. The operating systems are awesome, large screen, excellent camera quality. I sold my iPhone 4 and bought a Samsung galaxy s 2 until the iPhone 4s is released which one is better. Is ios5 better than androids latest software. Im so confused :(

How can I convince my dad to get me a Iphone4S instead of a Iphone 4?

Q. Im getting a smartphone for Christmas and I can get an Iphone 4 16gb for $117 or a Iphone 4s 16 gb for $199. I don't know how to tell my dad that if im gonna be locked in on a 2 year contract i want a phone that's new technology, not a phone that's already almost 2 years old.

Are there any upcoming Android phones for Sprint?

Friday June 4th is when the HTC EVO 4G is released on Sprint. From everything I'm hearing it's the most powerful Smart phone coming out in the U.S>

Just off the top of my head, EVO4g 8MP camera and a 1.3 MP camera on the front for video chatting. EVO4G has the 4G network (Depending on where you live, if you don't have it now, most likely it will be there by the end of the year, we get ours in 2 weeks)
I know that the EVO 4G allows you to talk and surf the internet at the same time,

The EVO 4G has a 4.3 inch screen to use, to me that means better touch pad typing (I have big hands/fingers) and better screen to watch Video on, plus it has Flash support especially with the 2.2. update coming soon.

The EVO 4G ships with 1GB of internal memory and a 8GB card that can be expanded up to 32GB (heard that it's possible that an update will allow the phone to recognize 64GB but it hasn't been confirmed) so depending on your storage needs,

It's running Android 2.1 with HTC Sense on top of it, I believe that root has been achieved and they are working on porting 2.2 (Fro yo) to the EVO shortly. If you don't root or anything HTC has said that they will be updating The phone this year.

The other two phones I know about on sprint are the Samsung Hero and the Samsung Moment, they're both Android phones from last year, I think they're running Android 1.6 (they may have been updated by now but not sure. The only difference between them is that one has a hardware keyboard and one is just touchscreen
