Q. I have an upgrade with Verizon right now, and I am so geared up to get an iPhone, however, I know the many advantages of the Android OS. I really like it, and the customization features, but I have an iPod touch 1st gen and I love it, so I really don;t know if I should wait and get the iPhone, or just get a Droid phone or samsung Galaxy phone.
A. I would go with any Android phone over the iPhone. I have the Samsung Fascinate for Verizon and I love it. It is an all touch screen keyboard with Swype. I actually use the standard Android keyboard and it's spaced out and easy to use. If you're looking for a physical keyboard, then I would get the Droid 2 because it is still a great Android phone but it has that physical keyboard. The added keyboard adds some extra bulk too though so keep that in mind. As far as the Application Stores goes, I would say the Apple market is actually better because they pre-screen all of their apps before they put them in the app store and make sure they don't have any bugs while the Android app store can pretty much have any app on it. They do mostly have the main apps, and I haven't really found any bugs in any of my apps on my Android so I wouldn't really worry about that. So overall, I would go with an Android and there are so many to choose from so you can't really go wrong!
Can all android phone version 2.3 upgrade to android version 4.1 ?
Q. Can xperia S update to android 4.1 ?
A. No...!! not every Android phone of ver. 2.3 can be upgradable to ver. 4.1... It depends upon the phone's configuration... If an update is available for a particular phone, you can get its details on the phone company's website...
Okay! another way, if your phone does not support ver. 4.1, you can get your phone rooted & then it is possible to run Android ver. 4.1...But i wouldn't recommend this one, as rotting a phone has several disadvantages & also if you root your within the warranty period the warranty will also void...So be Carefull.....
