iPhone or Android Phone?

Q. So I am going to get a new phone in a few weeks, but I dont know which one to get. I am debating between the iPhone or an Android phone like HTC Aria. So which one do you think is better (price-wise and quality) and why? Also I know that Android is an operating system. What are some good Android phones? I want one that is touch screen, has a keyboard, and is not huge, but for AT&T.

A. Get an android phone.try sony ericson xperia pro or mini pro.android is customisable and has a better market.

How to make an android phone run faster?
Q. I have an xperia arc! I know thats old! But my dad wont just let me use an iphone while everyone in my family has iphone 5!im just too young! (13) ok! So how do u make it faster! Like the way it was! when it was bought! I have installed cache cleaner and task killer etc. So how do u make it run faster! I don't have a lot of apps! But loads of pictures ob SD!

A. hi ,

1. Remove Unnecessary Home Screen

Typically Android phones come with default of 5 home screens. The newer smartphones feature up to 7 home screens, which we think is overkill. This will simply kill your phones RAM, and reduce efficiency. Set only those many Home Screens as required
2. Remove Unnecessary Widgets

Widgets may be useful, but Android users tend to overdue it sometimes. It is recommended that you use minimum number of widgets possible, so as to get maximum efficiency.
3. Do Not Use Live Wallpapers

Live Wallpapers are a huge resource hog, and their novelty wears of pretty soon. Stick to static wallpapers and see the huge performance boost which you will get.
4. Uninstall Any Glitchy Apps

Some poorly coded apps can create havoc to the Android OS. You will think that you have a hardware problem, when in reality, there is an underlying software which is slowing everything down.
5. Do Not Use Task Killers

People have a misconception that task killers make their phones faster. But nothing is truer than the opposite. Task killers mess with system programs by shutting them down, and your phone has to work hard to reload them all over again. This effects not only performance, but battery also.
6. Use a Different Launcher

The Launchers which are built into the phones are typically poor in interface as well as speed. We suggest installing a different launch such as Launcher Pro, or ADW Launcher, which will give you a visual boost in performance.
7. Move Apps to SD Card

Too many apps on the phones internal memory can make your phone lag. Moving your apps from your phones internal memory to an SD card will help free up phone memory and give a performance boost.

8. Update to Latest Version Of Android

The newer versions of Android give much better performance than the older versions. It is recommended that you upgrade to the latest version of Android which your phone supports, so as take advantage of the newest changes which have occurred in the Mobile OS.

9. Installing a Custom ROM

Installing a custom ROM such as Cyanogenmod, or MIUI can give your phone a major performance increase, as they will remove any bloatware, and have better launchers and essential apps to boot. This may be advanced, but will give one of the biggest performance boost, and it the best way to harness the most of your phones hardware

10. Root and Overclock

Another Advanced method is to root your phone, and then overclock it, with softwares such as SetCPU. This will reduce battery life, but give a major increase in speed. You should be careful, so as to avoid bricking your phone. Softwares such as Once Click Lag Fix for Samsung Galaxy S can also give a major performance boost after rooting.

The phone works for me I am able to do what I want on the phone like keep up with family on facebook and with my personal emails anywhere. I wanted a phone with a sliding keyboard and this is one of the few phones that have a slider. It is big enough for me to be able to type without a lot of problems I have arthritis so that is important. Although I liked the Rumour keyboard much better. This one is not as easy you have to really push down on some of the keys and the space bar ends up putting a period instead of a space sometimes. The other annoying thing is that it lags sometimes when moving the phone around the screen doesn't adjust quickly but the screen is a bit sensitive so sometimes I lay the phone down and notice that an app has come up even though I didn't touch the screen. Still I am glad I have this phone it is great for me to learn how to use a smartphone and didn't cost an arm and a leg. My two complaints are more just an annoyance.
ProsDurable, Great photos, Great sound
Conskeyboard is more difficult than it should be
Yes, I recommend this product.

Iphone (iOS) or Android !?

Q. Im getting a new phone soon and i was wondering if Iphone (iOS) software or Android software was better for me. I mainly use my phone for texting, listening to music, (i know android has free music which is nice) and using apps. My big pet peeve is having a delayed response from the touchscreen or having bad call quality so if you know anything about either systems please tell me.

oh and i have AT&T if that matters; its between the Motorolla Atrix and the Iphone 3gs right now
idk much about the windows phones but if you think theyre the best, please explain.
thanks(:

A. any top android phone,

http://www.androidcentral.com/best-android-phones-june-2011

I prefer android over apple for the reason that its open-source, that means that the majority of the apps are free, and you get more revolutionary and cutting edge apps. And do things are even only barely available on a jail broken iphone
the android market already has 250000 apps- closing in on apple 500000, some say it will surpass it before the year is over. Also any popular iphone game or game adaptation can be found in the android market for free.
another great thing about android as that if you dont like something (keyboard, homescreen, etc.) it can easily be swapped out with jail-breaking, unlike the iphones one-size-fits-all approach.

Security
both Iphone and android offer equal security, though they have different means of doing it.
iphone, verifies all the apps so you cant get a virus through an app, but the rest of the phone is semi-vulnerable.
Android does not check the apps, but the apps are run in a isolated way, as to not affect the system in event of a virus.
so both phones are equally prone to viruses (and if this a big deal for you, android has a antivirus app, which iphone does not)

other features only on android
turn-by-turn GPS
better and larger screen
no need to connect to computer to sync
heres a big one, add a sd card
better calls
more customizable
more powerful hardware
flash support, watch ALL the online videos

apple lovers that say that the iphone is made of better quality material? They dont realize that Samsung, an android phone maker supplys the screen, processor and memory for apple devices, so android has the advantage here.
The iphone is pretty, but not durable, drop it once- it breaks, all that glass around it? That was honestly a mistake. Android manufactures clearly saw that, and decided to do with something a little more durable.

Also apple never invents anything, all they do is steal old technology, give it a fresh coat of paint and mass advertise it as magical and innovating, thus fooling the mass of the population into believing that apple offers cutting edge technology, that in fact has been around for quite a few years.

Also if youve seen apples 2011 presentation, they blatantly copied over five "new" features that were previously on android

1. Notification bar
2. Twitter integration
3. No need to connect to PC to sync
4. Launch apps from lock screen
5. Tabbed browsing

according to Steve jobs, these "revolutionary" new technologies that android users had since 2007 will be available on IOS5. It would not surprise me to see some more android features from 2008 on IOS6, and the sad part is that apple lovers will really think that apple invented those features and call android the copycat

How can I update my android phone?
Q. I have an AT&T unlocked phone (Samsung INFUSE 4G) with Simple Mobile. Each time I go to settings -> Software update, it says that the software is up to date, but I have 2.2.1
It has: Build number: FROYO.UCKH1 if is any help.

A. Many Android phones with older versions of Android will never get updated. Whether or not a phone gets updated depends on whether the phone company (AT&T) and the phone's manufacturer (Samsung) think it's worth doing. Usually a new phone model will get updates for maybe a year after it's first available, but after that it may not.

However, even if there is no official update, you might still be able to update your phone anyway, but only if someone has made a newer unofficial version of Android available for your specific phone... and your phone is rooted (because you can't install an unofficial update unless your phone is rooted).

Here are instructions for rooting your phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1428411

And once you've done that, here's a list of other unofficial Android versions you can install: http://alchemistar.blogspot.com/2011/06/samsung-infuse-4g-custom-rom-list.html

P.S. Rooting and updating on your own is a tricky technical process and things can sometimes go wrong if you don't know what you're doing, leaving your phone in an unusable state.

Changing from an Android phone to an iPhone 3GS?

Q. Okay, so At the moment, I have an Android phone (LG GW620) and I have recently been given a 3GS (Off a family member that upgraded).
The iPhone 3GS is on O2.
At the moment, I'm on a £10 a month contract for T-Mobile.
I get Unlimited Texts and Internet usage, and 100 minutes.

Could I unlock the iPhone and use the same Sim?
Or do I have to have a special iPhone tariff?

So would it be easier to just pay off my current contract, and get a SIM-ONLY iPhone Sim card?

A. I have recently transfered from android to iphone 3gs.. My mum gave me her 3GS from vodafone.. I am also on t-mobile! SO I KNOW WHAT TO DO! As we unlocked it as i am now a happy Iphone 3GS user on T-mobile with my android in the bin...

You need to call 02 and ask for them to unlock the Iphone.. you may need a valid 02 Sim in the iphone (i did for vodafone) You need to give the 02 advisor your IMEI code from your iphone... to get this goto phone - Keypad - type in *#06# it will give you the code...

It took vodafone about 2 days to unlock the iphone for me...
Once unlocked i had to restore my iphone with itunes...
Then you can just insert the T-mobile Pay as you go/OR T-mobile contract SIM card into your iphone and you can use the internet texts and calls as usual...

One more tip... Before i could use orange signal share i had to go to myt-mobile and just say that i had changed phones..

Hope this helps + enjoy your new phone!!

4.3 inch Android phone for T-Mobile?
Q. Hi, I have T-Mobile and I want to get a phone with at 5 MP camera and front facing camera. It also has to be an HTC 4.3 inch screen with android. This is one of the reasons why I hate T-Mobile. They don't have cool phones. I want something like the EVO but I don't want to switch to sprint. Is there a new phone coming out soon? I considered getting the HTC Desire HD but they don't sell in the US. Thanks.

A. As Philip said, the MyTouch 4G is an HTC. It has 3.8" display and back and front-facing cameras.

The HTC Pyramid is rumored to be headed for T-Mobile. In the usual HTC style, this phone will be both a beauty and a beast:

Best Metro Phone of 2012?

Q. Looking to buy a new phone but I don't know what kind to buy, if u have any suggestions let me know! :)

A. I would recommend LG Esteem or Samsung Galaxy Indulge. Both are Android smartphones with fast processor and 4G high speed internet. However, everything depends on your budget.

Do I get an iPhone 4S or the latest and greatest 4G Android phone in January?
Q. I have never owned a smartphone and am on the fence about which smartphone path to take. I am not worried about adapting to a smartphone since I am a computer science major; so simplicity is not a necessity. I have looked at every review under the sun that I can find and there appears to be a good argument for both sides. Can anyone give me an unbiased reason(s) to go either way? The iPhone definitely does not exceed in the realm of latest technology, but is there quality good enough for me to go with the older technology? Can anyone please help me? My upgrade period is January 2012 and I am on Verizon Wireless.

A. Get the iPhone 4S... Don't listen to anyone telling you to get an Android phone (except the Galaxy Nexus. That thing's pretty good) BUT even with the GN as an option, I think I might recommend the 4S. In short; the 4S will be reliable, have an amazing camera, be smoother, have a better app store, have better customer support, sync your media easily, and have all the awesome little features that make iOS so great.

Oh, and the GN will have terrible battery life, just like all LTE and WiMax phones. Any other "latest and greatest" Android phones on Verizon will have terrible battery life too. I realize I didn't give you much information, or facts to back up many of my claims, but I just don't have time for that right now. Hopefully you can take my word for it.

Q. My phone which an android running phone supports WiFi and i want to get that WiFi and share it with my computer through cable not wirlessly. Remember WiFi that my phone receives (not mobile internet)
the WiFi my phone receives is through a router in my house
if so how do i do it

A. you need to set up ur phone as a wifi hotspot, take a look at this link, it talks about it briefly under the section 6th day of Xmas.

http://heavenlyandroid.com/software-updates/24/80-froyo-22-downloaded-and-raring-to-go

As a sprint customer...i am looking to buy my wife a phone for xmas?
Q. What phone is or gonna be the best sprint phone out by xmas time....

A. We've reviewed a lot of midrange Android devices here at PCMag, and most of them fall short of the mark. The $49.99 LG Optimus S has changed that. It's the first reasonably priced Android device we can wholeheartedly recommend. Even if it doesn't have high-end specs, it's ideal for anyone who wants to avoid the extra monthly charges Sprint adds to the otherwise excellent, HTC Evo 4G ($199.99, 4 stars). It's one of The Best Android Phones as well as one of The 10 Best Touch-Screen Phones.

Upgrading Verizon Phone. Worth Getting Galaxy S3?

Q. I have the LG eNV Touch I've had it for about 4.5 years now and verizon is trying to talk me into a upgrade and I they said I would be eligibale for the Samsung Galaxy s3. I like it alot. But I'm scared to go full touch screen I like buttons as crazy as that sounds. But is it worth it? Or is it just a fad like iphones and tablets? If its a bad phone what phone do you think I should get? and is there just going to be a newer one down the road soon? shoud I wait? Or what.. thanks for ur ans!

A. I had the Galaxy S with the slide keyboard. I know what you mean about the physical buttons. I found out all the new high powered phones "flagship phones" will not have the physical keyboards anymore. They want the phones to be thin and with a physical keyboard they can't do that. It takes a little to get use to but the full touch screen keyboards vibrate and make a click noise when you touch the letters and numbers. But you can turn off the sound and just have the vibrate if you don't like the sound. Also with the screens being so big, the keys are big too. The Galaxy S3 has a 4.8 inch screen. The Galaxy Note 2 is coming out around the end of October beginning of November. That has a 5.5 inch screen and a SPen. The beauty about the SPen is you can write the words instead of typing it and it will switch it to a text. Both of those phones and all Android phones have swipe technology (means you don't have to take your finger off the screen for each letter, you just slide it across the screen and stop at the letter you want then switch direction). Some people might say get the IPhone 5. But the 4inch screen means the letters will be smaller for text messaging and my grandfather wishes he has gotten the bigger screen Android for that reason. I would highly suggest to wait for the Galaxy Note 2 but it's all about what screen size is right for you. Here are the specs for the two phones.

The Galaxy S3 US version has a 1.4 GHz Dual Core processor, 2G of RAM, 4.8 inch 1280x720 16:9 aspect ratio screen, 2100mAh battery, 64G expandable micro SD slot on top of a 16G-32G internal memory, Great camera (has 20 picture burst and can take pictures as fast as your finger can hit the button also takes video and pictures at the same time), picture in picture (you can watch your movie at the same time your text messaging), Sbeam, share pictures through wifi, 4G LTE, Facebook, YouTube, google search, google maps, supports JAVA, swipe technology (means you can text words without having to take your finger off the screen for each letter. You might have to google it for better description), and more.

Me personally I like big screen phones and will be getting the 5.5 inch Galaxy Note 2 with a 1.6 GHz Quad Core processor, 2G of RAM, 16G-32G-64G internal memory, up to 64G external micro SD slot, removable 3100 mA battery, 4G LTE, SPen, supports JAVA, has google talk now, YouTube, Facebook, google search engine, google maps, customizable screen, great camera (with 20 picture burst and as fast as you hit the button it takes the picture just as fast and also takes video and pictures at the same time), picture in picture (means you can continue to watch your movie while you text message), Sbeam for sharing pictures instantly, you can share pictures to people that are on the same wifi you are on, put things on any smart TV with wifi connection from your phone, swipe technology, screen shot movie to make corrections to grafts or emails and send it back to the person also has sound, you can write on the back of your digital pictures, actually sign your email, organize your pictures in to folders, and more stuff. That's why I'm getting the Galaxy Note 2 oh and it fits just fine in my pocket. The screen also moves the keyboard over to the left or right off the phone so you can easily do one handed text messaging. I would say go to YouTube and look it up.

There are also other big screen phones out there like the HTC One X. I would suggest go to the store and see what one feels good in your hand. The Galaxy Note 2 will be the fastest Smart phone out there when it comes out. They give that phone a nick name "Phablet" for phone-tablet. I hope this helps you out.

A. From zero to a HTC One for $50 with free overnite shipping. Good luck on the keyboard thing. You'll probably just need a good sized screen to compensate. Unsure of battery removal on these--been away from Androids since 2010.Happy hunting and best luck.

Android or Blackberry?
Q. My birthday is coming up and I can get a phone within a price guideline. My friends all bbm people on their blackberry's and are very socialble but othere's say it breaks easily. Which one should I get?

A. There is no doubt that android phones are better than blackberry phones, but if all of your friends havce BBs, then the choice gets hard.

The advantage of having a Blackberry is that you will be able to BBM with all your friends, and not get left out. Most of my friends had BBs, and I got an android (this was a year ago). I felt left out until their contracts ran out and all bought new androids. If your friends are for sure sticking with Blackberries, and you wouldn't mind them way to much, go for the BB.

On an android phone there are hundreds of social apps, but I haven't found one that is BBM compatible. What you do get though, is the Google Play Store. It has over 400,000 apps, and 70% of them are free. You get to be part of the future of smartphones. You get the option of choice: both when you choose what phone to buy, and the software on it. You can install a new keyboard, theme, live wallpaper, lockscreen etc very easily.

The best android phone on a budget is the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus. The HTC One V is better, but not released yet. If you wouldn't mind waiting (and it's on your carrier) and want an android, the One V is the way to go. The Blackberry Bold is the best Blackberry Phone out right now (there's another batch coming fall 2012 apparently), and should still be dirt cheap.

A. wifi? 3g and android come in Samsung galaxy y only

Which phone can i buy? Answer me pls.i have mentioned my needs below?
Q. Compulsory needs:

2.Samsung 15%

A. I will recommend you android, the operating system used by 75% population in the whole world. Samsung would be a better choose and in your range opt for Samsung galaxy s duos. It is for 12000 and good dual sim full touch android 4.0 ics and it will just impress you. See some features below:
the personal. However, you can still manage your dual roles with one phone if that phone is the Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562. Q. I feel confused to selsect a perfect android mobile for me

A. You didn't specify the currency... so not sure which conversion to use for your 15000. A good lower priced phone would be the Samsung Galaxy S2 or if you can afford it, the S3. Newer phone, go for S4 or Note 2.

Which is the Best Smartphone under Rs.30000?
Q. So I really like Windows Phones particularly Nokia Lumia 900. It is not yet available in the Indian Market. So what are the other smartphones would you recommend? I'm expecting below 30,000Rs.($538 - USD)

A. HTC One X with Beats Audio Unlocked GSM Android SmartPhone - (Grey) is the most fascinating cell phone I have ever used. I didn't encounter those problems and defects. The SLCD2 screen is spectacular with brilliant color and even some 3D feeling while I am using the phone. The browser is so fast and smooth with very good touch response. It provides me a great experience while surfing on the net. Furthermore, I also love the attractive appearance of One X. The HTC One X makes me say goodbye to my old Iphone 4s.

Android phone or iPhone 5?

Q. I`ve had the iPhone 4 for about a year now and am starting to get a little bored of it.I like iOS but android seems very compelling.I don`t know if i should get an android phone or just wait for the iPhone 5.

A. get a droid phone, and with a app called "double twist" you can sync all your itunes music to your android,
http://www.tested.com/news/the-best-android-phone-for-your-network-july-2011/2660/

I prefer android over apple for the reason that its open-source, that means that the majority of the apps are free, and you get more revolutionary and cutting edge apps, and do things are even only barely available on a jail broken iphone
The android market already has 250000 apps- closing in on apple 500000; some say it will surpass it before the year is over. Also any popular iphone game or game adaptation can be found in the android market for free.
Another great thing about android as that if you dont like something (keyboard, homescreen, etc.) it can easily be swapped without jail-breaking, unlike the iphones one-size-fits-all approach.

Despite the false rumors, The iphone is also just as, if not more vulnerable to viruses as android
http://www.pcworld.com/article/183763/experts_not_surprised_by_iphone_malicious_app_report.html

Other features only on android
Turn-by-turn voice GPS
Better and larger screen
No need to connect to computer to sync
Here is a big one, add a sd card
Live wallpaper
widgets
4g
More customizable
More powerful hardware
Flash support, watch ALL the online videos

Apple lovers that say that the iphone is made of better quality material? They dont realize that Samsung, an android phone maker, supplys the screen, processor and memory for apple devices, so android has the advantage here.
The iphone is pretty, but not durable, drop it once- it breaks, all that glass around it? That was honestly a mistake. Android manufactures clearly saw that, and decided to do with something a little more durable.

And the iphones retina display is a huge scam. By definition a retina display is one where the human eye cannot distinguish individual pixels. But this is determined by several factors; most important being the distance between the screen and your eyes. The iphones retina distance is 12in, move any closer than that- say 7in and its no longer a retina screen because your eyes can now see the pixels, by that same token, if I move my android phone back, to say 16-17in, amazingly, it becomes a retina screen as well! (feel free to google this)

Also apple never invents anything, there never the first. All they do is steal old technology, give it a fresh coat of paint and mass advertise it as magical and innovating, thus fooling the mass of the population into believing that apple offers cutting edge technology, that in fact has been around for quite a few years.
So instead of innovating, apple actually hinders technology- after 4 years they still have low-power single core phones, while android, an example of technology in overdrive, has rumored that, after their second year, the release of quad core phones that will surpass even some desktop computers in shear processing power. (now any 2011 android is smoother and faster than the iphone)

Apple should now feel pretty worried; android has passed it in market share
http://www.businessinsider.com/android-iphone-market-share-2011-4

Then apple panics and sues
http://www.dailytech.com/Google+ExCEO+Apple+Doesnt+Innovate+They+Sue/article22190.htm
The funny thing is that apple cant sue for being the first touchscreen or tablet, because they werent,(Nokia fist touch screen, archos first tablet) so instead they sue for much more relevant things like, the rounded icon corners and having a flat screen or the square shape of the phone..

To top it all, if youve seen apples 2011 presentation, they blatantly copied over five "new" features that were previously on android.
http://androidandme.com/2011/06/news/five-features-in-ios-5-that-show-how-apple-is-now-playing-catch-up-to-google/
http://www.droid-life.com/2011/06/06/apple-introduces-ios5-with-notifications-ota-updates-and-tabbed-browsing-android-users-giggle-at-their-late-arrival/
1. Notification bar
2. Twitter integration
3. No need to connect to PC to sync
4. Launch apps from lock screen
5. Tabbed browsing

And not only are they copies, but apple didnt even bother to improve, or change some of them in any way- some even have LESS features than their android counter parts, its basically a cheap imitation with the ever-popular iphone skin.
According to Steve jobs, these "revolutionary" new technologies that android users had since 2007 will be available on IOS5, and it would not surprise me to see some more android features from 2008 on IOS6.But the truly sad part is that due to apples marketing, in a few months, apple lovers will really think that apple invented those features and call android the copycatsyet again.

Though I suppose Google shouldve seen it coming.

Good artists copy great artist steal- Steve jobs (apple CEO)

Considering 4g Android Phone HTC Inspire, any review ?
Q.

A. have seen some review here:

http://netfinest.com/4g-android-phone-htc-inspire-reviews/

My experience with this phone:
It is my first android phone and I really love this phone, but it has some areas with rooms for improvement. HTC did include all the features one could want in a phone.
-Battery life is shorter than I would like in a phone- I charge it everyday. My ipad on the other hand, I charge perhaps once a week. I wouldnt have minded a heavier phone if it meant a better battery life.
-The battery compartment was also difficult to open initially(surprisingly so, I had to use a flat screwdriver to pry it open with quite a bit of force).
-no front facing camera.
-screen is beautiful. Iphone4 has a slightly more beautiful screen though.
-PRICE. I got the phone for much less here on amazon wireless compared to anywhere else I have seen. This phone puts a very high quality android phone within the reach of people(like me) who usually buys phones under 100$ with contract.
-Speed- the phone is faster than all of my friends android phones. I am sure it wont hold onto this throne for a long time with all the dual core processor phones coming out this summer(2011).

Iphone?
For people who are thinking of buying an iphone- I bought this phone for the features. I knew about its shortcommings(battery life, lack of front facing camera). Apple products are better designed(and more expensive), generally have less features- but for what it does, it does a little more beautifully(i.e. scrolling in my ipad is more seamless and smooth). You get what you pay for in the end. Android was a better fit for me and I absolutely love it- the things I can do with this phone does blow the iphone out of the water. However, for many users(including my 50+ year old parents), the iphone will probably be a better fit.

My experience with ATT:
-ATT annoyingly does not allow you to tether this phone without paying an extra 20$ a month for 4gb. But I heard there is a workaround that involves rooting your phone. This is obviously not what the majority of people will do. Sad that this major feature of android will be off limits to most people.
-2gb/month gives me some anxiety about running out of data. Ive been using my phone conservatively(e-mail, web pages, occasional youtube video) and I am projected to use about 800mb, which is comfortably under the limit. Still, I would still prefer an unlimited data plan.

My previous phone was a blackberry 8300 without a data plan and I have extensively experienced an apple iPad that I currently own(which I assume is similar to the iphone in its features).

The Bad Things
-I almost broke the damn battery cover trying to open it. Trick is to peel the plastic at the volume rockers, not where the indent is. Youll only do this once, so it doesnt really matter.
-The screen really takes up the entire front of the phone. I have long fingers, so I keep accidentally pressing things depending on how I hold it. Also, buy a screen protector, youll probably need it
-The voice quality didnt seem to be as HTC Tilt I upgraded from.
-WiFi randomly disconnects occasionally. However, it seemed to pick up better WiFi signal than a MacBook, so.yeah
-The back of the phone is slippery! Get a good case so it doesnt slide everywhere.
-Battery life? It lasts about as long as all other smartphones out thereI can get through an entire day of heavy use. Just charge it every night. New ROM that gets rid of bloatware helps battery life.
