best android phone for hd gaming at a price less than rs 15000?

Q. I want to play games like asphalt 7, gta 3. Also i dont want micromax or karbbon as they are not durable.

A. Have a look at Samsung galaxy S Advance and Galaxy S Duos. Both are good in your price range but they only have 8GB inbuilt storage out of which only 4GB is available for use. As you know GTA 3 itself is 2 GB game. And you install 2 games and you are out of storage.
My advice go for Spice Stellar Pinnacle MI530 or MI535. both have 16GB inbuilt storage and 1GB Ram.

Thinking of buying an Android powered mobile priced below Rs. 15000. Can anyone suggest the best out of these?
Q. Samsung I5700 Galaxy Spica
LG Optimus One P500
Samsung Galaxy 3 (I5801)
Sony Ericsson Xperia X8

Is HTC Wildfire a good pick?

Which one is the best pick?

These are some of the models I managed to find out. Any other suggestions?

A. 1 - never ever ever ever ever go for LG - my experience with 3 lg phones have been terrible.

Sony Xperia is a bit fragile compared to samsung one and htc.

since it is andriod based - i suggest htc wildfire as it is a terrific phone and second option i suggest samsung one.

Does anyone know a good free website for a android phone or laptop to hack a facebook?

Q.

A. No... Firstly, 'hacking a facebook' is illegal if you mean hack in its dictionary definition. More likely, you probably want to phish or use a keylogger to obtain a password for someone else facebook account. Anyway, there are no free websites which will do this. Any you find online will probably be a virus site or such.

is there a way to temporarily disable net nanny from my nextbook?
Q. if there is please tell me because my parents installed it on my device and they might be getting the newer version where it can clean my nextbook and erase everything on it. P.S. they also blocked my settings

A. Before reading I think your best hope is the keylogger option. Good luck!
------
Unfortunately your options are limited on a tablet, and even more limited since your access to settings is blocked. My best guess would be to first reset to factory default, then enable encryption, then reinstall Net Nanny. Hopefully your connection will be encrypted before Net Nanny checks it, which will render Net Nanny useless. Note that you'll lose all your files so hopefully you have a way to back them up, like a USB stick. Here's some links:
http://www.askmefast.com/How_to_reset_nextbook_8_tablet-qna1367375.html
http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/how-to/mobile-phone/3369237/tablet-encryption-101/ (see the "How to Encrypt an Android Tablet" section)

It's a long shot, and even if it does work the password of Net Nanny will be cleared so your parents will know something is up (I'm assuming there's a password, never encountered Net Nanny).
-------------------------------
There's another alternative, and that is to install a keylogger on your device and wait until your parents enter the password. Try this site:
http://www.wildhacker.com/2012/06/android-keylogger-invisible-keylogger.html
If that doesn't work try Google and search for "android keylogger". Not that if you're not allowed to install programs, then this option won't work since you won't be able to install the keylogger.

How come my android is so slow?

Q. My mom recently bought an ipad 4 and i have a samsung galaxy note one. For some reason even though the two devices have the exact same ram and cpu capacity (not sure about graphics) my phone runs infinitely slower than her ipad which has to power an ultra hd screen. i dont understand this
Android core. Thank you for the information, but i cannot find this watchdog lte on my phone. I found 3G watchdog and other sms monitoring apps but i cant find what you are talking about. Could you maybe link it to me?

A. your are comparing Apples to Oranges... a Big nono in the tech world!

---1) Understand that one is a tablet and the other is a smartphone
---2) the two are of different generations of technology, let alone 2 different chipsets
---3) IOS is closed sourced. Apple codes IOS to the hardware it is on. It dictates what can and cannot be open, ran in the background, etc etc. Android is open source. You dictate what is can and cannot do. It WILL NOT do it for you! Think Communism vs. Repubicanism thats IOS vs. Android in a nutshell.

Most people, like you, wanna compare IOS and Android (spec wisewhich is good dont get me wrong), think they are completely the same based on CPU/RAM spec, but not take into consideration the factors that separate the to techs--such as tech. Its like comparing benchmarks from a dual core to a quad core not gonna happen!

If your Note is running slow reboot it.. If its still running slow, and you are using Advanced Task Killers---this is your #1 why ATKs are made for Android 1.5 2.1 Bascially 2008-2009 phone technology. Android 2.2-present doesnt require ATKs.. Android has its own ATK built in directly in the code of the OS if you use an ATK on 2.2+, you are negating that code, cause the OS and even the ROM to bug up and slow down your fault not androids Android, like IOS, will auto freeze background process that are nto being used or called upon by your fingers.

Also get WatchDog LTE.. this is a task MANAGER huge difference that a ATK. Open 3rd tab here your will find ALLLLLL apps, systems apps, system processes running on your phone next to it is a CPU %... see what app or process is sucking up your CPU and making the phone slow then modify those app settings in their app menus. You do have the option to kill apps but killing 1 bad app once a week or month is beter than killing 300 apps every2-6 hours geeeshhh android abuse!

Also, Watchdog will prove my point about Android, like IOS, will auto freeze background process that are nto being used or called upon by your fingers. Only 10-15 apps should have a % next to them the rest is 0.0%... PROOF! So.. ATK user and lover you are telling me you wanna use CPU and RAM to open and use ATK to kill 300 apps that use 0.0% CPU LMAO!!!!!!!!! LMAO!!!!!!! Just wow

So there you go see what is sucking up your CPU and modify those Apps Also, CleanMaster app will help clear junk files, residual files, cache, temps, etc, for those users who simply refuse to deep clean their droids on a weekly basis also might want to consider your memory intake extensive call history and text threads can bog down any phone, regardless of OS, cause like, as you all know, like, oh em gee, like deleting a 1 text is like, omg, so bad, my life will be over, like god LMAO there is no bloody hell need to keep ever single freaking text message! Get SMSbackup, back up the texts in case you wanna relive your live in 60 years, then delete them off the phone..

And last resort. Complete data wipe per Factory Reset

If issue remains, get a new android. You have somehow killed your ROM due to lack of maintance.

If you are tech savy, root it and get a custom ROMone WITHOUT touchwiz!

But comparing a ipad4 to a GN1.. that like a 2012 Chevy 2 door Silverado truck vs a 2011 Ford 4 door Fusion sedan..

How do i please my DAD to get me a new PHONE?
Q. Okay so my dad is going to delhi, india for 10-15 days i want him to get me a mobile from there which costs around 8k. The thing is that my father gets very angry at these things since he thinks kids shouldnt buy so many cellphones etc etc. When i was 14, i saved money and when i told him that iam going to pay for it, he argreed. The phone costs 7k so i gave 5k and my dad 2k. Then last year when i was 15 again i saved money and bought my first touch phone which costed 6k. This time also i gave 4k and my dad 2k. He agreed to buy me this phone after alot of pleading. But now i want a new android phone, all of my friends have new phones xcept me. Why i want my dad to get this new phone from india bcoz there it costs 8k and in my country it costs around 20k which is quite xpensive. I wanted to give him money bt i cudnt save any money bcoz of various reasons. But i will promise him that as soon as he gets bck frm india with the phne ofcourse, i will return him the money. If not the xact amount atleast 4k or 5k. I cannot sleep at nyt thinking that wat if my dad refuses to buy this phone as i havent talked abt this with him yet. Please help and i cannot do a job!

A. Perhaps it would be nicer if you were to suggest to your father, that you would really love a new phone, but would be so much happier if he was to give the money to the starving children of India instead. Think of it this way.. every time you use your old phone, you can think to yourself that you saved someone's life, instead of walking around with some new phone.
A phone or a life saved.. which will you choose?

How do I put ONLY WHAT MUSIC I WANT or a playlist from my music library onto my samsung android phone?

Q. Ok so here is my problemI have over 700 songs on my computer and they are all from my family's different styles and taste. 2 teens, myself, and my husband. I have created playlist or saved playlist with just my stuff in a group,1 child's stuff in a group and the other's in another, and my husband's. I have managed to put just what I wanted to on a flashdrive for my Tahoe, and also on a sd card. But we all have samsung android phones,a rugby pro,2 s3's,and a note 2. But everytime I connect 1 of the phones to the computer and try to transfer that certain playlist to that certain phone it doesn't work. Oh yes it goes on the phone but so does every single song in the music library, and then my husband fusses about having the kids hip hop on his phone or the kids fuss about having his country on theirs. Is there a way to transfer the playlist, without having to copy and transfer each song again individually?
you can not,or rather I have not found a way to transfer the play list to each phone. But you can copy a album and transfer to each phone but not playlist. I did however find a app that I had to download software on my computer and the app on each phone and use my itunes and transfer the playlist to itunes then create a playlist in itunes then transfer that playlist to 1 phone but this is alot of extra trouble.

A. Transfer the playlists from the computer to the individual phones.

What does it take to make android apps for the android market?
Q. I'm a 16 year old boy who is interested and inspired by another kid who is 14 and made an iphone app. So far he has made millions on his apps. I wanna create some apps and I figured the android market would probably be easiest way. What does it take to develop apps. Also would it help if I had an android phone?

A. Before going further, please note that you'll have to pay 25USD for a Google developer account in order to publish apps for the Android Market. For the iPhone AppStore (iTunes), it's even more expensive, 99$ a year minimum I think.

Now for your question:

The most easy way to develop an Android app is through the Google (Android) AppInventor since you virtually "draw" the application and graphically organize its actions and the dependencies between the screens. It's kind of like in Visual Basic if you know that already. Anyway, even if you have no experience, AppInventor is really a good way to start, it includes an emulator, and it's free of course. However, in order to package it in an .apk (to run it on a phone) or to publish on the market, it's not a straightforward step but it's possible anyway through PhoneGap for instance.

Further step would be using JavaScript programming through a platform like Appcelerator Titanium. They have developed a bridge between JavaScript and both Obj-C (iOS: iPhone/iPad) and Java (Android). So the good thing, is once you compile the app, it's usable for both iPhone/iPad and Android phones/tablets. Titanium includes emulators for all those platforms. In addition, it allows to package even for MacOS X (Apple computers) but you have to pay something for Apple, again.

Unless you already know and master Java, in that case go directly with Eclipse IDE and hard code.

How Do I Update My Android Droid Incredible 2 Cellphone To The Next Update?

Q. I have Droid Incredible 2 in brand new condition and i know that the phone is about 2 years old i think. What i have as far as software information is : Android Version 2.3.4. Is there a higher version for this phone. I go to setting and system update but when its checking it just goes away. No you are up to date or showing the next update. Is there one or not...and is there something that i did wrong? Thanks

A. Nope. Verizon and HTC literally screwed up on updating the phone to Android 4.0.4. They promised to update it last August of 2012. Well, you can see how that went since you're obviously still on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread. The only way to update at this point is to root your phone (which is going to be hard since you're obviously up to date as well). Hope this helped.

Is my rooted android the reason my sytem update keeps failing?
Q. My husband rooted my phone. I don't know what it does. I don't even use it and now I keep trying to do a system update and it fails. I can't call Verizon because I have a rooted phone. Help!

A. Restore to the stock Android firmware.

By the way, rooting is a process allowing users of mobile phones, tablet PCs, and other devices running the Android operating system to attain privileged control (known as "root access") within Android's subsystem. Rooting is often performed with the goal of overcoming limitations that carriers and hardware manufacturers put on some devices, resulting in the ability to alter or replace system applications and settings, run specialized apps that require administrator-level permissions, or perform other operations that are otherwise inaccessible to a normal Android user. Rooting is analogous to jailbreaking devices running the Apple iOS operating system or the Sony PlayStation 3. On Android, rooting can also facilitate the complete removal and replacement of the device's operating system.

As Android was derived from the Linux kernel, rooting an Android device is similar in practice to accessing administrative permissions on Linux or any other Unix-like computer such as FreeBSD or OS X.

Description
Most devices running Android must be rooted in order to install custom versions of the Android system such as CyanogenMod. The stock configuration (unrooted), user-installed applications do not have direct access to the flash memory chip on the device and are not able to replace or modify the operating system itself. Rooting is also necessary for certain applications and widgets that require additional system and hardware rights such as rebooting the phone, certain backup utilities, and other access to other hardware such as status LEDs. Rooting is also needed to disable or remove manufacturer-installed applications such as City ID. Rooting the phone typically also includes installing an application called Superuser that supervises which applications are granted root rights.
In contrast to iOS jailbreaking, rooting is not needed to run applications not distributed by the official Android Market (sometimes referred to as "sideloading"). However some carriers, like AT&T, prevent the installation of applications not on the Android Market in firmware,[2] although the Samsung Infuse 4G from AT&T allows running applications not downloaded from the market.[3]
As of 2012 the Amazon Kindle Fire is locked to the Amazon app store instead of the Android market, and other vendors of Android devices may lock to other sources in the future. Access to alternate apps may require rooting but rooting is not always necessary. As an example, for the Kindle fire it is possible to load the "easy installer" app from the Amazon app store and then use it to "sideload" apps from any source.
One of the potential downsides to rooting is some phone makers consider it to be "modifying" the phone, which may void the warranty. However, if the phone is un-rooted before the user tries to use his or her warranty, there is no easy way for the warranty provider to know that the phone was previously rooted. The term "bricking" is used to describe a device which has had its software modified improperly to the point where it is no longer functioning.[4]

Process
The process of rooting varies widely by device. It usually includes exploiting a security weakness in the firmware shipped from the factory. For example, shortly after the T-Mobile G1 was released it was quickly discovered that anything typed using the keyboard was being interpreted as a command in a privileged (root) shell. Although Google quickly released a patch to fix this, a signed image of the old firmware was leaked giving people the ability to downgrade and use the original exploit to gain root access. Once this exploit is found, a custom recovery image that does not check the digital signature of a firmware update package can be flashed. In turn, using the custom recovery, a modified firmware update can be installed that typically includes the utilities (for example the Superuser app) needed to run apps as root.
The Google-branded Android devices, the Nexus One, Nexus S and the Galaxy Nexus, can have their boot-loaders unlocked by simply running the command "fastboot oem unlock" from a computer connected to the device while it is in boot-loader mode.[5] After accepting a warning the boot-loader will be unlocked so that a new system image can be written directly to flash without the need for an exploit.
Recently, Motorola, LG Electronics and HTC Corporation have added security features to their devices at the hardware level in an attempt to prevent retail Android devices from being rooted. For instance, the Motorola Droid X has a security boot-loader that will put the phone in "recovery mode" if unsigned firmware is loaded onto the device.

A. Hi Tridona,

I'd recommend the Nokia Lumia 520, for around 8820Rs.

Whats the difference between a Samsung Androiod powered phone and a HTC Android powered phone?

Q. Like ie: HTC Hero from Sprint with Android and the Samsung Moment from Sprint with Android.
I thought that all Android powered phones were HTC so whats the deal?
Thanks.
:)

A. Android is an operating system, just like Blackberry phones use the Blackberry operating system, and many other smart phones use Windows Mobile operating system. Android is the same way, and can be found on many phones. The Droid is made by Motorola and it's on that one too.

HTC just happens to have a lot of phones with Android on it.

Is there any remote desktop app for Android?

Q. I just got a new Android phone and I'm wondering if there's any app that allows you to remotely view (and even better, control) your desktop computer. Also, just a side question, how can I turn off notifications from my Email app?

A. There are many app for accessing you Android desktop remotly or accessing another computer from your Android.

Before I go on with answering your question, remember, Android is a Linux based operating system, so nothing is impossible.

First app is:
 Teamviewer for Android
 Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teamviewer.teamviewer.market.mobile
Note: You need to have the id and password of a machine that has teamviewer before logging into it

 Android-VNC-Viewer
 Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=android.androidVNC
Note: Virtual Network Computing (VNC) is a graphical desktop sharing system that uses the RFB protocol (remote framebuffer), so basically you don't care what VNC software the other machine uses, it could be TightVNC, Real VNC, Vino... Nobody cares

This are my favorites, but there are many more, here is a list for you:

Which smartphone has the best email system?
Q. I want to get a smartphone after my current contract runs out. I would prefer the phone's email app to have IMAP, and Microsoft exchange. I also need it to hold at least 4 email accounts. What are some good suggestions?
Preferably not iphone or blackberry
No iphone suggestions as i have an ipod touch and i want something different.
No blackberry suggestions as i have seen them and they're unimpressive.

A. Android seems to be the way to go these days. iPhone has lost it's edge. Blackberry and the others have a long way to go. From personal experience, HTC is a much more reliable phone than most others. Especially Samsungs. I personally use the HTC Inspire and, after having the last 3 versions of iPhone, I couldn't be happier with the switch. You can get it on Amazon.com now for $0.01.

Why are Finnish people so AWESOME and SMArt?

Q. I mean ... Linus Torvalds Created Linux which mac and Android runs off off.

Nokia made in Finland is kick ass despite of the fabric poor android OS dominance just last Q3 in 2012.

The Black Box and sauna?

If it was not for Linux alot of programs would have nnot been coded. Nokia would have never revolutionized the mobile industry..

Thus anndroid would not be here ..

Not to mention these kick butt Metal bands I hear from there .. that guy Alexi Laiho his guitaring is amazing and they act like regular people not snobby like America's Lars..

They with only 350.000 troops vs about 950.000 troops took down russia lol in winter war i mean are these guys that one country that is THE notable kick ass one but just not popular like in the STATES.
Nokia's just about dead.

The black box and sauna are not Finnish FAR FROM DEAD EVEN IF THEY WERE THEIR 20 YR REIGN IS STIL BETTER THAN THIS NEW BULLSHIT .

I haven't heard of any of those weird sounding bands OF COURSE YOU SOUND LIKE YOUR FROM AMERICA LIKE ME LOL DUMB ASS.

Russia's army is overrated from movies NAW NOT AT ALL OUR SHIT WAS OVERRATED! VEITNAM BITCH

In conclusion, Finland sucks. NOT BY FAR ITS OKAY LOL.
Black box and sauna are made in finland lol. dumbass
LOL that's why i like doing this Yaho answers! like the Awesome aussie ! Love you guys!

True but just like thanks to michael jackson and elvis many stars were born. hence nokia..

And the Aussie guy did it in the 50's but the fin did it earlier as i have seen on many other sources! Look here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flight_recorder and then go straight to HISTORY.

Thanks alot though mate your smart!

A. It probably has a lot to do with their education system. Finnish children don't do their first year of school until they are seven years old. By this time they have a lot more maturity to deal with being away from home all day and handling the classroom situation. Statistically they have some of the highest achieving students in the world.

There are a few things I need to correct people on though:

* Linux is a clone of Unix. The Mac OS X family tree goes back first to NeXTstep and then to BSD, which is UNIX. Linux has had no influence on the development of OS X. Linux is different enough from UNIX that it cannot legally be called by that name.
* Android would not exist had Eric Schmidt, one of the heads of Google, not had first hand access to Apple's secret iPhone project while it was still in development because he was on the board of directors. Before this the Google Nexus phone looked just like a Blackberry.
* The Black Box flight recorder was invented in Australia.

edit: going by the wikipedia article on black box flight recorders you posted, the French have an earlier claim to its invention than the Fins. The type in use on all commercial aircraft today is the Australian one.

Should I get a Samsung Galaxy S2 or an iPhone 5?
Q. Should I get a Samsung Galaxy S2 or an iPhone 5?
I currently have a small old phone for texting and calls and an iPod touch for music. I would like to replace these devices with one smartphone. I would be using this smartphone for making calls, texting, listening to my music and video collection, surfing the internet, checking social networks and possibly more. I am thinking of an iPhone 5 (when it comes out) or a Samsung Galaxy S2. Below are my reasons for each one:

Samsung Galaxy S2
- 8MP camera with LED flash
- 1080p Full HD video recording
- Android 2.3 Gingerbread: very customisable
- Dual Core application processor - blazing fast speeds
- 5.1 simulated surround sound
- Expandable storage (MicroSD 16GB, 32GB)
- 4.3 inch screen - not too big, not too small
- Super AMOLED Plus display - said to be better than the iPhone 5's Retina display
- Cheaper phone - there are many good deals in Australia for this phone at the moment
- Android apps are slightly cheaper than iPhone apps

iPhone 5 (hasn't been announced yet, below are the most likely features in the phone)
- iOS 5 - very easy to use (this doesn't really matter to me as I am very adept with technology)
- 8MP camera with LED flash
- HD video recording (720p or 1080p)
- Apple's A5 chip
- iTunes and iPhone just work so perfectly together
- Brilliant syncing with computers (I have a Mac)
- 3.5 - 4.5 inch Retina display
- More apps on the App store
- I already have many Apps on my iPod Touch, which I can re-purchase on the iPhone free of charge. However, the iPhone 5 will be more expensive in terms of the actual handset, so this doesn't really matter

Please help me in any way you can! My heart says to go with the iPhone 5 and my brain says that I should go with the Galaxy S2.

Which phone should I get?

Thanks in advance.

A. get the galaxy S2!!!!!, and with a app called "double twist" you can sync all your itunes music to your android,
http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/roundup/398417/best_android_phones_editor_choice_august_2011_/?page=1#cb

I prefer android over apple for the reason that its open-source, that means that the majority of the apps are free, and you get more revolutionary and cutting edge apps, and do things are even only barely available on a jail broken iphone
The android market already has 250000 apps- closing in on apple 500000; some say it will surpass it before the year is over. Also any popular iphone game or game adaptation can be found in the android market for free.
Good droid apps
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AssdlSX6Uu0ck0rLLrCzxI7ty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20110823164708AAwKyaC

Another great thing about android as that if you dont like something (keyboard, homescreen, etc.) it can easily be swapped without jail-breaking, unlike the iphones one-size-fits-all approach.

Despite the false rumors, The iphone is also just as, if not more vulnerable to viruses as android
http://www.pcworld.com/article/183763/experts_not_surprised_by_iphone_malicious_app_report.html

Other features only on android
Turn-by-turn voice GPS
Better and larger screen
No need to connect to computer to sync
Here is a big one, add a sd card
Live wallpaper
widgets
4g
More customizable
More powerful hardware
Flash support, watch ALL the online videos

Apple lovers that say that the iphone is made of better quality material? They dont realize that Samsung, an android phone maker, supplys the screen, processor and memory for apple devices, so android has the advantage here.
The iphone is pretty, but not durable, drop it once- it breaks, all that glass around it? That was honestly a mistake. Android manufactures clearly saw that, and decided to do with something a little more durable.

And the iphones retina display is a huge scam. By definition a retina display is one where the human eye cannot distinguish individual pixels. But this is determined by several factors; most important being the distance between the screen and your eyes. The iphones retina distance is 12in, move any closer than that- say 7in and its no longer a retina screen because your eyes can now see the pixels, by that same token, if I move my android phone back, to say 16-17in, amazingly, it becomes a retina screen as well! (feel free to google this)

Also apple never invents anything, there never the first. All they do is steal old technology, give it a fresh coat of paint and mass advertise it as magical and innovating, thus fooling the mass of the population into believing that apple offers cutting edge technology, that in fact has been around for quite a few years.
So instead of innovating, apple actually hinders technology- after 4 years they still have low-power single core phones, while android, an example of technology in overdrive, has rumored that, after their second year, the release of quad core phones that will surpass even some desktop computers in shear processing power. (now any 2011 android is smoother and faster than the iphone)

Apple should now feel pretty worried; android has passed it in market share
http://www.businessinsider.com/android-iphone-market-share-2011-4

Then apple panics and sues
http://www.dailytech.com/Google+ExCEO+Apple+Doesnt+Innovate+They+Sue/article22190.htm
The funny thing is that apple cant sue for being the first touchscreen or tablet, because they werent,(Nokia fist touch screen, archos first tablet) so instead they sue for much more relevant things like, the rounded icon corners and having a flat screen or the square shape of the phone..

To top it all, if youve seen apples 2011 presentation, they blatantly copied over five "new" features that were previously on android.
http://androidandme.com/2011/06/news/five-features-in-ios-5-that-show-how-apple-is-now-playing-catch-up-to-google/
http://www.droid-life.com/2011/06/06/apple-introduces-ios5-with-notifications-ota-updates-and-tabbed-browsing-android-users-giggle-at-their-late-arrival/
1. Notification bar
2. Twitter integration
3. No need to connect to PC to sync
4. Launch apps from lock screen
5. Tabbed browsing

And not only are they copies, but apple didnt even bother to improve, or change some of them in any way- some even have LESS features than their android counter parts, its basically a cheap imitation with the ever-popular iphone skin.
According to Steve jobs, these "revolutionary" new technologies that android users had since 2007 will be available on IOS5, and it would not surprise me to see some more android features from 2008 on IOS6.But the truly sad part is that due to apples marketing, in a few months, apple lovers will really think that apple invented those features and call android the copycatsyet again.

How Nokia can re-gain its market share? Give at least three suggestions and support each suggestion with solid?

Q. Q MOBILE; A COMPETITOR OR DETRACTOR:

Nokia is the Finnish multinational company founded in 1871 and the largest vendor of mobile phones providing its services in more than 120 countries. Nokia had the biggest customer base around the globe and is the market leader since many years but with the growing technology and due to vendors of smart phones, Nokia is facing declining market from last five years. Competitors came with latest technology, attractive features, innovative designs with lowest prices thus, attracted large chunk of customers. The entrance of HTC, Apple and iphone in Pakistan has damaged Nokia customer base. The android technology led by iphone and HTC changed the perception of market segments and made them inclined towards products with latest features to show their identity distinctively. The android market offer customers fast, attractive and awesome applications to spend their time in leisure. In 2011, Nokia had partnership with Microsoft and now Nokias phones 710 and 800 have windows phone operating system to compete with other mobile phone companies. The entrance of Q mobile in 2002 captured large market share with providing eye-catching designs, stunning features with very low prices. It caters low price segment by fulfilling their demands thus, segmentation is critical for all businesses. The features like Wi-Fi, Camera, Bluetooth; Nokia provided in expensive mobiles only but recently, people can have all these features in just Rs. 5000 Mobile phone. The customers preference should be the prime concern for every company. This emergence not only changed the perception of customers but market direction shifted from one market leader to many others. But this fact cannot be left unnoticed that Nokia is market leader due to its reliability.

POINT OF DISCUSSION:

How Nokia can re-gain its market share? Give at least three suggestions and support each suggestion with solid argument(s).

A. Have a look three suggestions as per my observation, I m too Student of VU and handling this GDB.

1) Nokia should adopted the new technology in touch plus making new application like android.
2) Nokia should introduced the mobiles in reachable prices because it is the best factor for Nokia to gain its market share as like before.
3) Nokia should adopted the new styles and using fancy bodies for their mobile sets with beautiful color.

A. The Finnish phonemaker also lowered the entry point of its Lumia smartphones with a new model, the Lumia 520, priced at 139 euros.

Most other Lumia phones cost over $200, and the top-of-the-range 920 can retail at over $600 without a carrier contract in the United States and some European markets.

The 920 model was launched last November and has won plaudits from industry analysts for features such as photography and mapping. Sales, however, have been dwarfed by devices from the likes of Samsung 00530.KS running Google's (GOOG.O) Android and Apple's (AAPL.O) iPhone.

Nokia's market share in smartphones has fallen to around 5 percent, while Apple and Samsung together control over half the market.

A new lower entry point for the Lumia 520 would enable Nokia to better compete with some mid-tier Android devices, analysts said.

I just bought the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro?
Q. I just bought the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro (pre paid with Telstra)

Never had an android phone before.

Any tips about the phone and/or what apps I may need to get the most out of this phone?
I like to take photos with my phone and this had the best camera but since I had it I want to make the most of it.

A. i had that phone, i installed free anti virus www.mylookout.com or i think you can download it free from the market, also download a battery booster i had "android booster" free from the market. and when your not using the internet go into settings and click on "accounts and sync" and turn of/untick background data, then click on "wireless and networks" and scroll down to mobile network and turn off/untick "data traffic" it saves alot of battery, plus keep bluetooth and wi fi off when not in use. i also downloaded from the market OI file manager, good for creating folders and moving pictures/videos/music into folders. and i also downloaded mini opera browser, very fast. hope some of this is some use to you. enjoy your phone -)

What is so bad about the chinese fake phones?
Q. I am currently looking for a new android phone to buy. I need to ask, why are chinese phones thought to be so bad - if they really have good features, and are almost perfect copies, why not buy one of these at a low prize...

A. Not everything chinese is bad but generally speaking:

* Chinese phones have low quality components
* Dimmer screens
* Less life expectancy
* It's harder to find replacement parts
* The plastic in not very good so it will break on the first disassembly attempt
...

I like browsing focal price dot come and reading comments and reviews about chinese phone

PS
HTC is chinese

Should I go for Samsung Galaxy Ace 5830 or Samsung I9003 Super clear LCD or any other?

Q. Dear Friends,

I want to buy an android smartphone within the 20K budget. Within my budget i found samsung galaxy Ace (approx 15K) and I9003 Super Clear LCD(approx 20K).

There are so many phones available in the market within this price range i am confused which one is good value for money. My primary requirement is 2.5-4inch screen, good ram, good processor,3G, etc

Can someone suggest me the right phone who are using above mentioned devices.
You could also suggest other brand like HTC phone within this range.

Thanks

A. If your budget is 20k then you should definitely go for Samsung Galaxy SL-9003. Its a bit toned down version of Samsung Galaxy S 9000 and has a Super LCD in place of AMOLED screen. despite this major change Galaxy SL is still a value buy for 20k. On the other hand galaxy Ace is also a good phone but not comparable to Galaxy SL. Ace has a weaker processor of 800 MHz as compared to Sl`s 1 GHz and has a smaller screen of 3.5 inch as compared to Sl`s 4 inch. At 15k Ace is also a good smart phone. But, if you want to spend 20k for a phone then Galaxy SL is worth that much money. Infact, with a bit of market survey you can get Galaxy SL for as much as 18,500/-. For starters, you can compare the prices on www.mysmartprice.com. If you are ok with stretching your budget with 2-3k, then you can also check out HTC Desire.

about to get a blackberry for the 1st time, help?
Q. I have at&t and I was about to get the iPhone, but it's very expensive and has no warranty, plus I have an iPod Touch anyway. I'm just curious about the phones, I'll probably get the Blackberry Bold 9700. What should I expect from it? Does it work as good as they say? Is it really easy to use? Is BBM really that great? How are the apps? You know stuff like that. Just basically a review, thanks.
Yeah I heard that the trackpad is much better than the trackball. I also heard that the battery isn't very good sometimes. But thanks for the review, I had no idea their app store was like that.

A. I own a BB Bold 9000. I know the 9700, is a lot smaller than the 9000. The camera is 3.2MP and has a track pad, instead of a trackball. Trackballs tend to get gunk in them, which causes the ball to be inoperable at times.

I like the ability to customize the themes and having folders to organize apps. The sound is superior, I havent heard any other speakers like it. Some phones can be loud, but sounds distorted, the 9000, is crystal-clear. BB Messenger is cool, but only a few friends of mine has it.

Dislikes: Although I have 3G and Wifi, internet browsing is slow and difficult, especially with the trackball. Maybe the track pad will provide some difference, but I doubt it. Almost 90% of Apps cost money. I would pay $.99 or may $2.00, but a lot of apps are like $4.99+. I have some basic free apps: Google Maps, Bolt, Stitcher, iheartradio, YouMail Visual, Drive Safely, Urban Spoon, Pandora and flashlight app turns on my LED light. The app store, is sluggish to navigate though. My battery tends to overheat, making a battery with full charge, deplete within 2 hours.

To me, the BB OS, is outdated and nobody supports their apps. I wish I could find it, but there was a chart indicated that the BB had the highest cost of apps over all the other OS's.

The iPhone 4G will be coming out in June, therefore the iPhone 3GS price will drop of course. Also there is warranty available @ Apple.

Since I had my BB Bold, Im ready to move on to Android or iPhone

Which is better iPhone or Android ?

Q. Ok , so right now I have an At&t pantech crossover that's an android but it kind of sucks . It won't let me download certain games & its memory is garbage . I am getting an upgrade pretty soon & I was wondering if I should stay with android or get an iPhone 5 or whatever .. I really just want a better hardrive but I want to keep my slide up qwerty keyboard . I also want to be able to download temple run & games like that . So can someone tell me the pros & cons of both & which one I should get ... ?

A. well.. Ill be blunt and tell you this... dont blame android for Pantech's peice of %#!#$% phone... Pantech, SONY, and LG dont know how to make androids... A good android must be a Teir 3 smartphone or Teir 4 superphone (the ones you see on TV) and always made by HTC, Motorola and Samsung.

Next blunt statement... ALL slider phones, regardless of OS, are buggy, glitchy, and latent... so dont blame Android for, again, OEM issues...

Next blunt statement... the price.... cheap = cheap... you get what your pay for... remember that! Teir 1 budget class Androids are NOT nor will NEVER be like their big brothers... they are sold cheap because the OEM and carriers strip the hardware and software down to the bare minimum.... this is why your Pantech... welll... sucks.... I'll same the same for a Samsung Prevail and Motorola Triumph and HTC Wildfires.... cheap = cheap.... you want cheap? you get it!!! Again, dont blame Android. And if the Apple rumors are true, that a Iphone mini is to be released for people with "lack of money", the budget iphones will have the same issues... and people will have a bad reality check and a whole world of butt hurt if they think these "minis" will run and operate like their big brother.... lmao.....

So... if you want a great android phone... make sure its $199 with a 2 yr contract... or was a very popular phone from Spring 2012 to present.....

I your gonna get an Iphone, make sure its the Iphone 5... cause 4 is being phased out now... and 4s will be phased out when 6 debuts in September... and you'll have a bad reality check when you put IOS 6 on a 4, or IOS 7 on a 4s... CPU/RAM requirements increase and OS #s increase... so IOS 6 is SLOW on 4... and kinda slow on 4s, but normal on 5... and when ios7 comes out, it will be normal on iphone 6, but kind a slow on 5, and very slow on 4s and stoneage slow on 4...

Whether it is an Iphone or Android... you want power and performance and the coolest LATEST games and apps????? Make sure the CPU is a minimum of 1.5ghz DualCore... and the RAM is a minimum of 1GB...... everything else is not important in a cell phone purchase

Quadcore 4G Qwerty Phones?
Q. I was wondering if anyone had any info about upcoming quadcore 4G smartphones, particular if they'll be on Verizon or if they'll have a physical qwerty keyboard.

I just got an iPhone 4S and I CANNOT WAIT to sell it and upgrade to a quadcore ANDROID phone.

I could've gotten a Rezound or Droid Razr, but they are too big for my small pants. thanks!

A. well were not quite at quadcore yet with android smartphones, (still at dualcore, but some tablets are quad core) but the first quadcore androids will probably be released in early 2012, Im keeping my eyes out for the galaxy s3, I currently have the s2 and its the best phone ive ever had.

as for a qwerty keyboard the Samsung stratosphere has a nice keyboard, as well as the DROID 3.

How do I embed videos from youtube to powerpoint??!?

Q. I sent videos taken from an iphone to my android phone and them uploaded them on to my computer. Then, I uploaded them to youtube. When I use the embed code that youtube gives me to put in my powerpoint, it says the video file is not supported! How can I embed them from youtube to a powerpoint?! *I am not computer savy. *I have Microsoft 2013 powerpoint

A. I wouldn't do it like that. Just download them the old fashioned way using a you tube down-loader, and embed them in using media player instead.

if you have the 2013 beats by dre studios and a android phone awnser this please?
Q. Do they sound kinda low on your phone they do on my and I was wonderinf if I was the only one.

A. The Beats are overpriced fashion products that are not worth the money. They sound "good" to people who do not know what accurate music sounds like. The bass from the Beats are overpowering, muddy, and inaccurate.

If you want sound quality over the look, this is a good place to start:

best android phone for hd gaming at a price less than rs 15000?

Is there a safe website to buy a used iphone 4?
Q. I have an outdated android phone (original htc incredible) and really want to switch to apple products (even if it means no more free music :/ ). I'm working full time this summer so I figured I could shell out a couple hundred for a decent phone, however, I noticed through Verizon's website the iPhone 4's are still 450$ despite the 4S, 5, and soon to be 6, phones preceding it. Is there a safe accredited website to buy a used apple/verizon product? I would hate to get scammed on ebay or amazon with a potentially stolen and resold phone. Im willing to pay 150-250 for a decent used iphone 4....
if not, is there any decent phones I can buy new for that price??
Thanks!

A. Yeah
Best avoid to avoid them

The IP4 is months away from being discontinued on release of the IP5S.

Apple only support LAST 3 iPhones, discontinued means no longer sold by Apple, any future upgrades are for supported phones some new apps just WON'T WORK

On 12/09/2012 IP5 announced IP 3GS DROPPED, like the year before IP4S IN , IP3G OUT.
no maths IP5S IN ....

It appears that your only research is that I want an iPhone, it may be the cheapest when compared to other iPhones but to invest any money in an OVERPRICED device is a waste as in 2 years you will be using a 5 year old device that came out in 2010. Many have already upgraded from the IP4 in 2012

http://www.gsmarena.com/apple_iphone_4-review-490.php

There are newer phone better phone and they cost a lot less, giving you more than the 8Gb on the IP4, you should look at eg Sam Gal ACE II or the Lumia 620 for phone with a secondary camera microSD expansion WIFI, GPS, DUAL CORE.........AND/ &/ PLUS/ + BLUETOOTH MEDIA TRANSFER (Sharing) which no iPhone even the IP5 has.
Here are the specs only if these phones are Gold Plated will it come in above the IP4

Is there an Android app to check how many texts/minutes you've used?

Q. I am getting my first Android phone tomorrow (hopefully), it's a Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro and I was just wondering if there is any application available on the market that tells you how many texts, minutes and data you have used. Or is there something like this already built in?
Thanks

A. There is no general app for that because that's something that's measured by your carrier. T-Mobile USA has a "My Account" apps that does this, but it's only available for their phones and accounts. Check with your carrier.

How to free up RAM in Android phones?

Q. Just bought my first Android phone, Samsung Galaxy Note. I love it except it hogs up a lot of memory by the running apps in the background. Apps like Advanced Task Killer only free up memory for a little while then apps start running in background again. What else can I do to speed up my phone?

A. Titanium backup is all you need. I had the same problem with my xperia arc. It is a nice device but had ram problem. I realized some apps still run in background even im not using them. For example free GLU games. Also my default music player. Always runs in backgroud. So i rooted my phone. Titanium backup has a function called '' Freeze''. This way you can freeze an app when you arent using it. Also android system has some stupid apps like setup wizard that you just need in first boot after reset. It runs in background also time to time. Also update service. Already you will know from news sites when your phone has an system update. So i have frozen update service too. Check out source link for more information about titanium backup and download links. Feel free to ask anything if you need help.Good luck.

How to get free paid game for xperia arc?
Q. I just bought the Sony Ericsson xperia arc recently those android store apps cost money, is there anyway I can download those for free? Like iPhone jailbreak it..

A. no need to "jailbreak" which btw if a apple term for android its called rooting. you can find games all over the internet find the game you want and add APK to the end of it such as if you wanted the facebook app just google facebook APK and you will find lots of results i use 4shared.com most the time but there are tones of them out there. once you find the game or app you want download it and go to your phone and go to settings>applications> and check "unknown source" this will allow apps out side the app market to be downloaded on the phone now i suggest you use gmail for this next part just email it to your self on gmail and open your gmail app and when you open that email it will say "install" rather then "download" hit install and it will put the game/app on your phone ill post a video below on how to get madden 12 on your phone that will give you a basic idea also maybe you could swing by our facebook page and give us a "like"

what is the best android phone from metro pcs?

Q. hi all, i have been looking and phones and want some opinions.... there are a lot of nice phones out there but i am wondering about:

Coolpad Quattro 4G

LG Connect 4G

HTC Wildfire S

thanks!

A. The best in my mind is Lg Connect 4G,but see for yourself
If you've never lived in China, then chances are you've never heard of smartphone maker Coolpad. The company, which is a major mobile player across the Pacific (Coolpad outsells Apple there by a wide margin), hopes to make the jump to the United States with the Quattro 4G ($79 contract-free from metroPCS as of 10/2/2012), its first smartphone offering here. Though the phone has speedy 4G LTE and a good-sized 4-inch display, the Quattro 4G's clunky feel, outdated operating system, and poor camera won't make Coolpad a household name here any time soon.

ne of the recent phones to be released by the Taiwanese mobile giant HTC is the HTC Wildfire S. It is primarily meant to be a budget class Android phone and it has really served the purpose. It caught our attention at first sight and we have loved the phone ever since. So we thought we would give it our full attention and focus on the pros and cons of the HTC Wildfire S. So, here is the list of pros and cons of the phone.

Pros:

The phone has really excellent design and dimension specifics of 101.3 x 59.4 x 12.4 mm lengthwise, breadthwise and by thickness respectively. The device weighs a mere 105g which competed with all the devices in the market today.

The TFT capacitive touchscreen is actually miserly but given the cost of the phone, we feel it is pretty much worth it! We have always loved the HTC Sense UI and it is the same in this phone too.

The microSD expansion of the phones memory can be done up to 32GB which is really awesome but we were pissed with the internal memory specifics of the phone. We will come to that in the cons section. Still, we loved the RAM of the phone which is a pretty decent 512MB one.

The camera is a pretty decent 5MP shooter which can shoot good pictures at a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels, has features like autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, etc. VGA video recording is also possible at 24 fps, in the phone.

Unlike the LG phones, the HTC Wildfire S runs on the most advanced version of the Android operating system, the Android v2.3 (Gingerbread) and this is one of the features we love most about the phone.

Cons:

Of course, the phone has its own set of bad qualities too. Some of them are manifested in the form of bad processor, bad battery, etc. HTC, learn fast!

The processor of the phone is a really simple 600 MHz processor which can be easily beaten even by a Nokia 5130 Xpress Music phone (remember those red phones which caused quite a furore when they were released)

We also hate the speeds of GPRS and EDGE, which are 114 kbps and 560 kbps respectively. I mean come on, you can give us better speeds for the money we are paying. The phone isnt that cheap!

The battery of the phone really sucks! The 1230 lithium ion fuel is no match for the rate at which Android is growing virulently! A powerful battery is a must have in all phones and HTC simply does not seem to understand this basic fact as far as mobile phones are concerned!

Anyone looking for a budget Android device; buy this one and youll not regret it!

How to Get Secure WiFi Internet while Traveling -- For Laptop, Cell Phone, iPad?
Q. I'm looking for an data privacy and internet security software that requires little-to-no configuration and is able to protect all of my electronic devices in real time.

A. It's quite simple. Install a WiFi encryption software or application on your laptop, smartphone, cell phone or tablet (compatible with iPad, Samsung, other Android tablets, also Windows and Mac laptops):

http://wifisecurity.ellsed.com

This automatically takes care of WiFi internet security on all of those devices while traveling. It also keeps you anonymous online on unsecured WiFi connections that you're likely to encounter in foreign cities.

Additionally, if you use an iPad while traveling then here's a cool trick that works very well on that tablet. It takes care of BOTH WiFi and 3G/4G security on iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch (any version, model or make):

Android phone below 15000 ?

Q. i was wondering is there any point in buying android phone below 15k indian rupee, coz major advantage of os is:
1.adobe flash 10.x support
2.lot of hd games
3.480*800 resolution over 360*640 of symbian
5.good performance with 1ghz and above cpu and 512 and above ram
So none of the phones below 15000 has these features so is there any pointing in buying an android over symbian below 15000.dont say some crap apps most important app are avilable for symbian some advantage of symbian device below 11-15k
1.hd games support,hd video ,divx support
2.amoled or ips led display future major updates like carla os
3.html5 browser with future update.
4.excellent battery and better resolution 640*360 against 480*320 of android below 15k.
So isnt symbian say symbian belle or carla os device better below 15000.

A. If you're gonna buy an Android phone, you'd have to pay way more than that to meet your requirements.

1. Adobe Flash 11 is only supported on the more mid-range to high-end Android devices while the low end (in your price range). The majority of phones in that range cannot support Adobe Flash due to hardware incompatibility.

2. Again, this requires a good phone as the low end Android devices aren't powerful enough to handle HD games which needs a decent phone to run on. Also, HD games requires a minimum of 480x800 resolution on the screen.

3. The majority of Android devices in the low end uses HVGA resolution (640x240) which is lower than the resolution used on Symbian devices. Only mid-range to high end Android provides WVGA and higher (largest at HD which is 1280x720).

4. Again, 1 GHz processors are only covered from mid-range onwards. The majority of low-end devices runs between 600-800 MHz. However, a lot do luckily have 512 MB of RAM.

So yeah, definitely not worth buying an Android phone below that price. But there are some advantages of an Android devices over Symbian like a more better UI that is easier to use and one that is more responsive. The experience is slightly better. For instance, the browser on Symbian is crap (even the new one is). The Android browser feels a lot better.

1. That is definitely true. Most HD games on Symbian is supported at that range but that's mainly because the graphics aren't as high. But the multimedia part is definitely true. Most Android handsets at that price range are only capable of 480p videos. But there are some phones with DivX support too.

2. Can't complain there. AMOLED and IPS LCD displays are fantastic. But, AMOLED is only used on their more higher end devices. The lower end uses IPS only. I wouldn't call Carla a major OS update. It just mainly adds MS Office and such. But considering how Nokia is slowly moving away from Symbian moving on to Windows Phone, I wouldn't really say Symbian updates are that interesting.

3. Um, Android's browser already have HTML 5. As I said earlier, the Symbian browser experience is actually quite horrible. Even the Anna one isn't that good. And even though it does have HTML 5, it's not a very capable one. Android's HTML 5 browser actually works better.

4. Symbian is more light-weighted. Android has a sh*t loads of background services running. That's the reason why the battery life sucks.

Under 15000. It's probably true that the Symbian devices are better since they do offer some better stuff. But, I can also say you're wrong. The only Symbian devices I see below 15000 are the crappy Symbian phones running on Symbian S60v5 which won't get the Carla update, can't play HD games, no HD or DivX video support, nor AMOLED or IPS LCD or even a good browser. It's actually worse than an low-end Android phone if you don't count the resolution in. However, I have found an Android phone that is 15000. Which does offer most of your needs though. The Huawei Vision.
Has Adobe Flash 11
Can play HD games
Has 480x800 resolution
Has a 1 GHz processor with 512 MB of rAM

So, yeah. Debatable.

Which latest phone should i buy?
Q. Hello..i am looking to buy a phone in between the range of rupees 15000 to 22000. I am interested in only apple or samsung phones. Also i want the best phone in looks and all other imp. Functions. Thanks

A. Galaxy s4 or HTC One are the top 2 right now. Why are you only interested in Apple or Samsung? Apple stuff has outdated specs and there are many more options than the Samsung for androids. The HTC One has a better design than the s4, buut is not as powerful.
