What does it take to make android apps for the android market?

Q. I'm a 16 year old boy who is interested and inspired by another kid who is 14 and made an iphone app. So far he has made millions on his apps. I wanna create some apps and I figured the android market would probably be easiest way. What does it take to develop apps. Also would it help if I had an android phone?

A. Before going further, please note that you'll have to pay 25USD for a Google developer account in order to publish apps for the Android Market. For the iPhone AppStore (iTunes), it's even more expensive, 99$ a year minimum I think.

Now for your question:

The most easy way to develop an Android app is through the Google (Android) AppInventor since you virtually "draw" the application and graphically organize its actions and the dependencies between the screens. It's kind of like in Visual Basic if you know that already. Anyway, even if you have no experience, AppInventor is really a good way to start, it includes an emulator, and it's free of course. However, in order to package it in an .apk (to run it on a phone) or to publish on the market, it's not a straightforward step but it's possible anyway through PhoneGap for instance.

Further step would be using JavaScript programming through a platform like Appcelerator Titanium. They have developed a bridge between JavaScript and both Obj-C (iOS: iPhone/iPad) and Java (Android). So the good thing, is once you compile the app, it's usable for both iPhone/iPad and Android phones/tablets. Titanium includes emulators for all those platforms. In addition, it allows to package even for MacOS X (Apple computers) but you have to pay something for Apple, again.

Unless you already know and master Java, in that case go directly with Eclipse IDE and hard code.

But I cannot find this menu or new cheat button. Can anyone help me? And by the way this is all on an android phone.

A. you can't do that yo ucan only do it on the computer or the dsi for action replay or any other kind of device.

Why do I secretly judge people that have Androids?

Q. The user interface of Androids is just so poorly organized and needlessly clumsy. I just feel like people that would voluntarily get an Android over an iPhone (given that they can afford both) are just kinda dumb.

Why do I do this? Is it bad? I can't be the only person that acknowledges the Android operating system straight up sucks, right?
I have an iPhone. Love iOS.

A. Unfortunately independent reviewers do NOT mark Apples iPhones highly
Also this must be a reason also that iPhones fail to win awards

The SGS 2 the multi multi award winning phone of 2011 which has a 1.2Ghz Dual Core processor, the IP5 18 months AFTER the SGS II has the same speed

The SGS II has won 4 top award in 2011-12
The Quad Core SGS III COPIED COPIED the multi multi award winning phone of 2011-12 [SGS II] the SGS III won THE SAME 4 top award in 2012-13 most recently on 26/02/2013 Global Mobile Awards in Barcelona

Considering the IP5 only has 3 NEW features on it not on the IP4S and the A6 chip optimised to work best in the IP5

Iphone
1) http://www.gsmarena.com/apple_iphone_5-review-822.php
2) Note the source http://finance.yahoo.com/news/8-things-the-iphone-5-still-can-t-do.html
the best ever iPhone since the Iphone the ad states

Both the SGS II and SGS III HAVE 8 more features NOT on the IP5, 9 if you include BLUETOOTH, Despite this the IP6 will still NOT have most if not all the 8 .

Windows 8 phone are coming in at 1.5 Ghz Dual Core processor as standard, they also appear to have 8 more features NOT on the IP5, 9 if you include BLUETOOTH

BlackBerry Z10 also 1.5 Ghz Dual Core processor as standard, it also appears to have 8 more features NOT on the IP5 9 if you include BLUETOOTH

The price paid or tariffs commanded (no demanded) by iPhones...on any every network defy logic and gravity!

"I have an iPhone. Love iOS."

You may love IOS but instead of meandering in the ORCHARD do do a little research (I know)

Apple prior to the APPLE -V- SAMSUNG case lost big time to NOKIA
IOS breaches many of Nokias patents so much so that Apple conceded defeat to NOKIA ..... and APPLE PAYS NOKIA ROYALTIES for each device that use IOS (every device sold! since iPhone)

IOS is NOKIA, all, all APPLE have to do to avoid paying Nokia royalties is to make an OS that Nokia did not design
Love iOS. Sorry Love Nokia

Nokia were making smartphones when SMART & PHONE were TWO separate words and.... "Smart" actually applied for a TRO against "Phone"

So NOT bad just like the maps misguided !
You do know know what today, 14/03/2013 S IV, intravenous SAMSUNG?

I don't have an iPhone but love what competition brings

A. Just go the verizonwirelss website. Its really simple

What are you going to do when Google infringes on your privacy starting March 1, 2012?
Q. Starting March 1, 2012, Google will be collecting data on everything you do on their websites and products. This includes Google search engine, Youtube, gMail, and all android phones.

Democracy and capitalism are failing because people are not participating in the system. People are complaining about corporate greed yet people keep using the products and services from the corporations they are complaining about. Knowing that Google will be infringing on your privacy, what are you going to do about it?

A. Not use google.
I totally agree with you, but this isn't much different then what other sites like facebook are doing. As far as they are concerned now a days anything you do related to or with their properties is their property. Even credit card companies are keeping track of the things you buy and selling it to other companies so they know their strong and weak marketing areas.
I can see the usefulness of the process but privacy much be an option. Say, if they give you a check box to store your preferred settings and such.

What should i do? Buy a new iPod touch and a cheap phone, or an expensive smartphone?

Q. I really don't know what to do. I have been saving for a new iPod touch 32 GB 4th generation, but then my phone broke. I was looking around the web and found android phones. They look cool, can play some apps like iPod, is a phone and can watch films. Now they are fantastic but there expensive. I know apps will look better on the new retina display of the iPod, but the android phones are really good also. I only have 200 euro now and i can have a budget of about 300 euro (Price of iPod).
In the android phone i want:
WIFI
BIG HI RES TOUCH SCREEN
CAN PLAY APPS LIKE iPOD
PRE-PAY
WILL WORK ON IRISH NETWORK (O2, VODAFONE)

Now people are going to say the HTC Wildfire, but that cant play apps like iPod (im talkin about apps like asphalt)

Please give me advice, and an android model phone if possible! Thanks in advance!
If you look i said "In the android phone i want: PRE-PAY (Not bill pay) ... please know what you are saying is actually answering the question before!!

A. buy the ipod and cheap phone because with a smart phone, you have to pay the data plan and that is really expensive especially in the long run. Just think how much you'll be paying a year for data plan. So the ipod touch with a phone is way better. No data plan=success

Good new phones on a budget?
Q. Uhmm I'm looking for a new phone, preferably an Android phone, but I need it to be less than £200, preferably. Does anyone know of any good phones that might come into that category? Oh, and it needs to be on PAYG tooo. I don't need any links or anything, just suggestions of good Android phones that are within that sort of budget.
Thanks! :)

A. what about an LG Optimus V? Its prepaid here in the USA and costs $199.99 and $25/mo for 300 min and unlimited talk/text... I know Euros are better than dolloars, so this should be a bargin. LOL

Can you recommend an Android phone with a keyboard?

Q. I currently have a Motorola Dext (EU version of Motorola Cliq) which I dearly love. But it is starting to show it's age & Motorola refuse to upgrade these past Android 1.5. I know these can be cracked & updated but I couldn't make it work & it's really not worth paying someone to crack such an old phone.

What I Love: Android, large screen, slide out keyboard.
What I hate: Crap battery life, No updates & therefore poor app compatibility

What I would really like to replace it with is more up to date version of the same thing, i.e. another slide out keyboard design, but there are so few on the market. Can people recommend some phones for me to look at.

A. The Samsung Galaxy Smart has a slideout qwerty, as does the HTC Shift something or other... these are both really reliable and advanced smartphones.
The thing with updates is that no phone is going to CONTINUE getting updates, because at some point any phone will be outdated. For example, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is IT right now, so of course it's getting updates... but in a year, that phone will be really old, and might not be getting new Android updates anymore. So just choose a phone you're happy with, and don't worry too much about the updating feature.
One thing, though... I understand why a lot of people want physical qwerty keyboards, but I'd have to say I've converted from that, thanks to the text input method called Swype. Read about it here: http://howdoyouandroid.com/2012/11/how-do-you-use-swype-keyboard.html It's SO much easier than any of those lame virtual keyboards, and actually is pretty close to as fast as typing on a computer keyboard, even if you're up there around 120 wpm.
Last point, about batteries... tbh, smartphones have pretty lame battery life right now. But I've totally overcome that problem, by following this method: http://howdoyouandroid.com/2012/11/how-do-you-deal-with-battery-that.html
Feel free to comment there, if you have any more Android questions!

How can i buy a used iphone and still keep my current cell phone carrier?
Q. So i have Metro Pcs, and i really want an iphone. Right now i have a Samsung admire, its an android thats 3g. Metro Pc doesnt sell iphones, and i was thinking of buying it used off of amazon or ebay. how can i buy a used ipone and connect it to metro pcs?

A. The iPhone (play /ˈaɪfoʊn/ EYE-fohn) is a line of smartphones designed and marketed by Apple Inc. It runs Apple's iOS mobile operating system, originally named "iPhone OS". The first iPhone was released on June 29, 2007;[14] the most recent iPhone, the sixth-generation iPhone 5, was released on September 21, 2012.[15] The user interface is built around the device's multi-touch screen, including a virtual keyboard rather than a physical one. The iPhone has Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity (2G, 3G and 4G (iPhone 5 only)).

how do i change home screen actions on an android phone?

Q. When i first got my galaxy s2 and i swiped from one home screen to another the wallpaper would move a little to end up showing the whole picture , but not it wont do it anymore. IDK what i did to change this. how do i change it back?

thank you=)
that option does not come up anymore.......i do remember seeing it ask for that when i first got the phone.

A. In TouchWiz (Samsung's version of Android), when you set a picture as the wallpaper, you should get a prompt to resize the picture, and also to set it as landscape or portrait. If you select portrait, the picture will not scroll. However, if you select the landscape option, it will scroll.

Also, in Settings>Display>Animation, check the "All animations" option. If this is turned off, then this animation will not be shown. It is meant to save a little bit of battery, but really isn't all that useful.

Does having apps on your android home screen kill the battery?
Q. I'm talking about holding down the app on the app list then making a copy of it on your home screen.
I'm not talking about widgets, I already know that kills battery.

A. Not enough to make any proper difference. My phone goes through having lots of apps and then only a few. I honestly dont notice any difference.

Is it possible to get an Android phone without a talking plan?

Q. I'd like to get an Android phone WITHOUT buying any kind of talking plan, only a data plan.
Is this possible?
I'd like to use it as an iPod but be able to get on the internet where I don't have wifi.
I don't know much about this, as you can tell.
Thanks in advance.

A. If you don't need any type of talking plan but you want an android, I would suggest the galaxy tablet. Plans start at only $20 per month and you can do everything on these but make phone calls. If you sign a contract the price is only $199. The only negative is if you wanted to use this as a ipod, it might be a little too big.

Is there an Android phone that a "college student" budget could afford?

Q. I think Android phones look great but am overwhelmed by the options and only have a "college student" budget. Is there something for me out there or should I wait until I've graduated?

A. Go to a Verizon store and see what they have in stock. My fiance and I each bought an LG Ally, and it cost $50 for one and $0 for the other after $100 mail-in rebates. The cost of the phones and the MIR were both able to go to our bill, too, so there was nothing up-front.

Phones change out pretty fast, so there's probably a newer model that is already near/at the same cost.

Which is the best Android phone available in the US market?
Q. Which is the best Android phone available in the US market?

A. That's highly subjective. It depends on what you're looking for... OS, carrier, screen size, other features.

I'll break it down into the best in different screen size tiers.
I'll ignore carriers for now, since you said "the US market" as a whole, but that's definitely an important consideration.

>4.3" - HTC One X or the HTC Evo 4G LTE are the hands-down favorites in this category. They're both pretty much the same, but the evo has a few more features, and the One X has a nicer design. It's a wash. The Samsung Galaxy SIII is one that some people may be interested in, but in my opinion the specs are a little disappointing, the design isn't great, and Samsung's TouchWiz UI is complete crap compared to HTC Sense 4.

4.3" - This is the most common screen size, so you have a lot of options if this is what you're looking for. HTC One S is probably the best phone in this category and has the best camera on the market (same as the One X and Evo 4G LTE), but it's screen leaves a bit to be desired. If you're looking for the nicest display on the market, the HTC Rezound is it, but battery life could be better, and the phone is awfully thick and heavy. The Samsung Galaxy SII is a great phone too, although it has been replaced by the, not-yet-released GSIII. . The Droid Razr Maxxx is good if you're looking for the best battery life, but the battery is not removable, which is something that turns a lot of people off (and Motorola's UI is not great either).

<4.3" For some people, those other categories are just too big. A lot of people have been looking for a high-end phone in a 4" screen size... something that until recently did not really exist. The Droid 4 has a 4" screen, but it's pretty thick and heavy given the slide-out keyboard, and the specs on it are nothing to write home about. The HTC Incredible 2 is a nice phone and has sold well, but it's getting rather old and doesn't have 4G. By far the best phone in this category is HTC's new Incredible 4G, which should be released very soon (pretty much every Thursday since the last week of April has been rumored, but most people are pretty confident it will be out by next Thursday or the one after that).

If screen size isn't a big factor for you, and you're just looking for the best all-around phone, I'd say that new HTC Incredible 4G is it. It's got a great processor, great camera, and great display and every feature you could possibly ask for (NFC, microSD with MHL support, Bluetooth 4, removable battery, etc.). It's not the *best* processor, camera, or display on the market -- more like a 9/10 in each of those categories (actually the processor is more like a 9.5/10) -- but none of the phones that would score a 10 in any of those categories have the same feature set as the Incredible, which is just as important. I could go on for hours about how excited I am about the Incredible 4G, but I'll stop here.

Hopefully that gave you something to think about. Like I said earlier, it's all subjective. There is no one "best" phone. It all depends on what you're looking for.

Any body have an idea of what my new phone would be?

Q. So I have a contract with AT&T and I got my phone XMAS 09. It slides with just number buttons. It is in horrible condition so I'll get a new one. I only get an upgrade though. On the AT&T site can anyone guess what I'll get to have as a replacement?

A. Motorola Atrix 4G Android Phone
Apple iPhone 4
Samsung Focus Windows Phone

For U.S. AT&T. If you're eligible for an upgrade, you can upgrade your phone (contract extension) on AmazonWireless, the most trusted store online, phone price for an upgrade start at penny. Also, you can purchase a new phone without contract as a replacement, too. If you don't require a data plan (most top AT&T phones above are smart phones and need a data plan), you'll can narrow down them by phone type (such as No Data Plan Requirements), or by phone feature (such as QWERTY Keys, Touch Screen, etc.). Select the phone you're interested in, read user reviews & ratings to help you find the best phone.

Is an iPhone 4s a good gift for my 14 yr old daughter?
Q. I told my daughter for Xmas I would think about getting her an iPhone 4s if she got good grades. Well, she goes to a very hard private school so good grades are a's and b's. She has only gotten some a's and many b's and I want better grades. She is very mature and I don't really care price wise. Also, I would like some websites discussing this topic if possible.

A. i think 14 is a good age for a cellphone. if i was in your position & i felt that my daughter had put in the effort i would get her the cellphone but with certain restrictions like time of use or restricted app purchase until grades show A's a cell phone at that age will provide you with some peace of mind as kids at that age are spending more & more time with after school activities & friends. i know from experience to keep a watchful eye on how much time kids spend on these gadgets & to look for signs of fading social interaction,, & i dont mean facebook. if you are set on an iphone or stuck in the apple culture then the iphone4S is a decent enough phone though quite small & outdated now. your daughter sounds smart enough & mature enough so keep in mind that she may very well grow bored with an iphone4S quickly as they are very simple & lack many of the features available on other more advanced handsets. kids today are very smart with these tech devices & some kids at my sons school have told me that iphones are definatley not cool & only old people have iphones. my sons friend Dylan told me that his mom uses an iphone because all she knows how to use a computer for is solitare, & he uses android because he knows how to use his computer to rule the world.

What Is A Good New Phone To Get?

Q. I am getting a new phone for Christmas this year, I currently have an LG Viewty and its broken. I have been thinking about the iPhone but it's very pricey. I also like the LG Arena but im not sure if its any good? I would ideally like a touch phone, with a good camera and lots of memory. And a good music player. But I don't like the Samsung Tocco. Any suggestions? Maybe you know of some phones coming out for Xmas. Thanks :)

A. Go for the Iphone its well worth the investment, if you can't afford a iphone 3gs then go for a iphone 3g 8gb. I beleive they sell it 99 at at&t website. I have used blackberry 8900, samsung jack, but the iphone 3g is by far the the best phone i own bar non. The app store is full of useful app games and tools, some are free. The safari web expeirience is the best, only nokia E71, and google android phone's can match it.
The phone require a case and screen protector to keep it safe from damage.

If 3g data plan is too expensive there are ways to cancel your data plan by switching sim to a dumb phone and making a call to ATT, search online for how to do it.

Anyone think iPhone 5 is better than Android Galaxy S3?
Q. Anyone I ask always says the Galaxy S3. Can anyone give personal reasons why they like one over the other? I've asked in the past and people just send me links. I want to know, if you have an iPhone or Galaxy S3, why do you love it, and why you think it is better than the other one? I am getting either for Xmas, just not sure which one yet.

A. My bf has an iPhone and its a good phone, but from my personal opinion (I have the galaxy s3,) I like the galaxy s3 way more because of all the cool things on it. My boyfriend even likes my phone more than his because its badass (excuse my language.) They are both really good phones, but I would recommend the galaxy s3.

Why people like android phones of samsung the most ?

Q. Samsung phones have cheap build quality, sluttery design, low quality of diplay (talking about ppi not amolded or whatever) etc (example galaxy phones especially galaxy s3)

By comparing to other android phone brand like htc and experia i come in to result that experia has better display and better build quality, better technology like bravia engine etc (example:- sony experia z)

And by comparing with htc, it have better display, htc sense for better UI,better sound quality, better camera, better looks etc example:- htc butterfly, one x+ and latest htc one)

Now i wonder what samsung have ?

A. Many people choose a phone for purchase based on what is offered by their cell phone provider. My cell phone provider offers many Samsung and LG phones and no HTC phones.
I have owned one LG phone that was a horrible phone. The next time I went to buy a phone, I choose to try a Samsung model. I had good luck with that Samsung phone. The next phone was a Samsung phone. I think that many people stick with a specific brand of phone because of brand loyalty. I own 4 Samsung models of phones. I have not had a problem with any of these phones. As long as my provider keeps selling Samsung phones. I will keep buying Samsung phones.

Should I get a new verizon android phone now or wait?
Q. I'm already due for my upgrade and I currently have an lg dare. I will stay with Verizon. Currently the top android phones in verizon lineup are Motorola Droid 2 and X, htc droid incredible, Samsung Fascinate. Should I wait or get one of these now? Heard there is an amazing htc phone called htc merge with 10 megapixel camera and a droid pro.

A. Verizon is getting Iphone in january BUT compared to an android phone is suck.

The only thing you'll be getting with an Iphone is the novelty to say... "I HAVE AN IPHONE!!"

My android can give my laptop internet access anywhere.

Plus apple is expanding because their sales are expected to drop because of Android being such a strong competitor.

Android is an affordable smart phone that almost every carrier offers therefore you'll have more connectivity with people. You can also pick up an android phone with not only touch screen but a slide out keyboard making it easier to text in class, or while driving (not that I condone it.)

Plus if something happens to it you aren't doomed to make an appointment with specialist only for them to tell you that you have to buy a new iphone.

How Nokia can re-gain its market share? Give at least three suggestions and support each suggestion with solid?

Q. Q MOBILE; A COMPETITOR OR DETRACTOR:

Nokia is the Finnish multinational company founded in 1871 and the largest vendor of mobile phones providing its services in more than 120 countries. Nokia had the biggest customer base around the globe and is the market leader since many years but with the growing technology and due to vendors of smart phones, Nokia is facing declining market from last five years. Competitors came with latest technology, attractive features, innovative designs with lowest prices thus, attracted large chunk of customers. The entrance of HTC, Apple and iphone in Pakistan has damaged Nokia customer base. The android technology led by iphone and HTC changed the perception of market segments and made them inclined towards products with latest features to show their identity distinctively. The android market offer customers fast, attractive and awesome applications to spend their time in leisure. In 2011, Nokia had partnership with Microsoft and now Nokia’s phones 710 and 800 have windows phone operating system to compete with other mobile phone companies. The entrance of Q mobile in 2002 captured large market share with providing eye-catching designs, stunning features with very low prices. It caters low price segment by fulfilling their demands thus, segmentation is critical for all businesses. The features like Wi-Fi, Camera, Bluetooth; Nokia provided in expensive mobiles only but recently, people can have all these features in just Rs. 5000 Mobile phone. The customer’s preference should be the prime concern for every company. This emergence not only changed the perception of customers but market direction shifted from one market leader to many others. But this fact cannot be left unnoticed that Nokia is market leader due to its reliability.

POINT OF DISCUSSION:

How Nokia can re-gain its market share? Give at least three suggestions and support each suggestion with solid argument(s).

A. The Finnish phonemaker also lowered the entry point of its Lumia smartphones with a new model, the Lumia 520, priced at 139 euros.

Most other Lumia phones cost over $200, and the top-of-the-range 920 can retail at over $600 without a carrier contract in the United States and some European markets.

The 920 model was launched last November and has won plaudits from industry analysts for features such as photography and mapping. Sales, however, have been dwarfed by devices from the likes of Samsung 00530.KS running Google's (GOOG.O) Android and Apple's (AAPL.O) iPhone.

Nokia's market share in smartphones has fallen to around 5 percent, while Apple and Samsung together control over half the market.

A new lower entry point for the Lumia 520 would enable Nokia to better compete with some mid-tier Android devices, analysts said.

What is a good android phone for Verizon?

Q. My dad's retirement party is coming up and since he had to give his droid x up, he's been using my old iPhone. He likes android a lot better and I'm really not familiar with them, so what's a good android phone on Verizon?

A. Representing a new breed of easy-to-use, intuitive smartphones designed for both work and personal use, the Motorola DROID PRO for Verizon Wireless provides business-ready solutions with enhanced features for a richer personal mobile experience. You'll get full-push corporate e-mail with corporate level security, a unified calendar with additional work features, and the DROID PRO comes pre-loaded QuickOffice Mobile Suite. And the phone is packed full of spectacular specs--a powerful 3.1-inch multi-touch display, 1 GHz processor, 4 GB of memory (2 GB internal, 2 GB included microSD card), and a physical QWERTY keyboard.

What are some pros and cons of the iPhone and an Android phone?
Q. I'm still deciding what phone to get. I have Verizon and I keep hearing that Verizon is getting the iPhone in early 2011, but I also keep hearing that Android phones are way better than iPhones. For Android, I had my eye on the Droid X and the Samsung Fascinate. What are some pros and cons of each phone? Thanks! :D

A. The whole iphone to VZN is a rumor and has been since 2007.its almost 2011 and guess what???? no iphone

Android
Customize the phone how you want-such as live wallpapers, back grounds
Expandable memory
removable battery
More choices for features and phones and prices
Better processors out thats better than the iphone
No bluetooth transfers on the iphone with out being jail broken
Free google nav
Widgets
you can "facetime" aka video call ove 3g not liek the iphone having to be in a wifi spot for it to work

not tied to itunes like a dog to a tree

Oh and Steve jobs don't tell you what to do with HIS $800 iphone.

Can I use a phone from another provider on the Virgin Mobile USA network?

Q. Virgin Mobile doesn't have any Android phones. I want to get something like the HTC Hero (normally used on Sprint) and use that phone on Virgin Mobile since VM has cheaper plans. Also, any info you can give me on their plans would be helpful. $25 per month for 300 minutes and unlimited data seems too good to be true.

A. As far as I know you have to have a Virgin phone, but I have seen ads on Craig's list advertising that they flash phones for Virgin. I've never had it done, so I don't know if it works.
The plans are sort of too good to be true, but there's no trick.
$20 200
$30 400
$50 1000
There are other deals, different amounts. Texting too, I pay $4.99 for 200 texts, and use the bonus program to get free minutes. You can get up to 6000 free minutes a year by having other people use your bonus code when they sign up for a new account online, they get a free hour and so do you.
There is no charge if you don't use your phone. (I used to have Verizon prepaid and was charged $1 per day if I used it or not) You just have to put $20 on your account every 3 months to keep it current. If you don't put the $20 on your service will be turned off, but you have 60 days after that to save your account and keep your phone number.

If your do go with Virgin here is my code:
dGusqu0H

Just copy and paste, it's case sensitive.

How much will it cost for an Android phone?
Q. I have no phone and no plan, at all. I want to know how much it will cost for the new/old Android phones. Activation cost. Plan costs on top of that.

A. well...alot plain and simple the phone itself wouldnt be to expensive if you go to wirefly.com and get a new contract with one company but activation is sometimes waived or its 15-30 and the phones range from free to 199 the plains after everything would probly be 300 or so bucks the 1st month

Seeking guitar game that listens and grades the player?
Q. I am looking for guitar game that actually listens to the player and would grade their performance.
Preference would be something PC/software based or I found some cool/free guitar tuning and chord apps for my Android cell phone. Games like Guitar Hero don't interest me. Something free/open source would be great, and something that teaches music, chords, lessons would be neat. Thanks for reading my question.

A. This is currently in development right now (http://www.guitarrising.com/ ). I was looking for one awhile back and this is the only one i found

A. get the thunderbolt any top android phone,

I prefer android over apple for the reason that its open-source, that means that the majority of the apps are free, and you get more revolutionary and cutting edge apps. And do things are even only barely available on a jail broken iphone
The android market already has 250000 apps- closing in on apple 500000, some say it will surpass it before the year is over. Also any popular iphone game or game adaptation can be found in the android market for free.
another great thing about android as that if you dont like something (keyboard, homescreen, etc.) it can easily be swapped without jail-breaking, unlike the iphones one-size-fits-all approach.

Security
Both Iphone and android offer equal security, though they have different means of doing it.
iphone, verifies all the apps so you can’t get a virus through an app, but the rest of the phone is semi-vulnerable.
Android does not check the apps, but the apps are run in an isolated way, as to not affect the system in event of a virus.
So both phones are equally prone to viruses (and if this a big deal for you, android has a antivirus app, which iphone does not)

Other features only on android
Turn-by-turn GPS
Better and larger screen
No need to connect to computer to sync
Here is a big one, add a sd card
Better calls
More customizable
More powerful hardware
Flash support, watch ALL the online videos

Apple lovers that say that the iphone is made of better quality material? They don’t realize that Samsung, an android phone maker, supply’s the screen, processor and memory for apple devices, so android has the advantage here.

The iphone is pretty, but not durable, drop it once- it breaks, all that glass around it? That was honestly a mistake. Android manufactures clearly saw that, and decided to do with something a little more durable.

Also apple never invents anything, all they do is steal old technology, give it a fresh coat of paint and mass advertise it as “magical” and “innovating”, thus fooling the mass of the population into believing that apple offers cutting edge technology, that in fact has been around for quite a few years. So instead of innovating, apple actually hinders technology- after 4 years they still have low-power single core phones, while android, an example of technology in overdrive, has rumored that, after their second year, the release of quad core phones that will surpass even some desktop computers in shear processing power.

Also if you’ve seen apples 2011 presentation, they blatantly copied over five "new" features that were previously on android.

1. Notification bar
2. Twitter integration
3. No need to connect to PC to sync
4. Launch apps from lock screen
5. Tabbed browsing

And not only are they copies, but apple didn’t even bother to improve, or change some of them in any way- some even have LESS features than their android counter parts, basically a cheap imitation with the ever-popular iphone skin.
According to Steve jobs, these "revolutionary" new technologies that android users had since 2007 will be available on IOS5, and it would not surprise me to see some more android features from 2008 on IOS6.But the truly sad part is that due to apples marketing, in a few months, apple lovers will really think that apple invented those features and call android the copycats…yet again.

What r some good and mostly bad things about the blackberry bold?

Q. I might get a bold but i keep hearing about soo many problems

A. Well, I don't know which Bold you're getting but I have a Bold 9780 and I love it.

The good things about it:
The resolution is so clear, detailed, bright and beautiful
It has a lot of memory so I have hundreds of songs and videos in it.
The keyboard is great for texting
It's great for email and social media
It's so much faster for web browsing than previous Blackberry Models like the Curve 8520 and 9300 and the Bold 9000

Bad things:
I wish the screen was bigger
If you download tons of apps it might get slower or freeze
It's still slower for internet browsing if you compare it to Android phones.

Now, the new Bold 9000 has a wider screen and keyboard and it's so much faster. It runs on OS7, a new Operating system. And also, the Screen is touch so you got the great Qwerty Keyboard and a touch screen in one place.

Hope this helps!

Which phone is the best out of these four?
Q. The three phones are the blackberry bold 9000 or the iPhone 3gs,palm pre,and last the new htc hero (and android phone that is also know as the tmobile g1 touch) which phone is better In Your opinion and why

A. out of those 4 phones i would say the blackberry bold is the best out of all of them. i personally love that phone.
