Should i get the Iphone 4 or an Android phone?

Q. I'm not a programmer or a business man who needs it for anything of great importance. I'm looking for a phone on which i can keep my music, surf the net, use social networking and a range of other things. I've heard lots about the android phones and how they may potentially be better than the iphone, but based on what i need i really dont know the difference between the two

A. Personally, I would choose an Android phone any day because on the iPhone:

-cant take out the battery
-no removable memory
-only Apple-approved apps
-STILL no true multi-tasking like Android
-cant customize your phone AT ALL
-no Flash support
-cant install apps from your computer
-no widgets
-no free GPS navigation
-no mobile hotspot
-no free wireless music downloads
-no ringback tones
-no refunds for paid apps
-all file syncing MUST be done through iTunes (pictures, etc.)
-Android phones have more memory storage
-most Android phones have better cameras
-no standard USB cable like all other phones
-the new iPhone has horrible antenna issues
-instant Android OTA software updates- dont have to go through iTunes like iPhone
-cant get service in an ATT store- have to find an Apple store
-works on ATTs horrible network
-no unlimited data
-tethering comes out of your data plan instead of being separate

Android is miles ahead of Apple- with the new 4.0 software, Apple is only now letting people do things that Android can, like add folders to their home screen, because God forbid that anyone should be able to do that on their cell phone!! And even in 4 years, they havent been able to give the iPhone true multi-tasking capabilities, like Android. It took them 4 years just to put a flash on the camera!! By the time Apple puts out a new iPhone, theres a better Android phone out 4 months later. Bottom line: they will always be trailing Android.

Android is already selling more phones than Apple, and its been out half the time that the iPhone has. By fall, the Market will have over 100,000 apps, which is more than the Apple Store had at its 2-year mark. Androids open-source nature will always be more appealing to developers and phone manufacturers because they can market to every carrier, and dozens of phones, instead of 1 carrier and 1 phone. The possibilities are literally endless as far as Android is concerned, because ANYONE can make an app to do ANYTHING on the phone. With Apple, they have to approve every single app that goes into the Store. They even rejected an app because it said the word Android in it- how far do you really think theyre gonna go with that kind of closed-minded thinking?? I want to decide what goes on my phone, not the other way around..

Should I get an android phone or iPhone 4?
Q. I don't know what to pick

A. If your looking for an iPhone, the newest is the iPhone4S. It is twice as fast, with a better camera, more RAM, and Siri.

Androids excel at personalization. They let the user do nearly whatever they want to. You can change the default keyboard, the lockscreen (so that you can just tap, or get rid of the lockscreen altogether), there are widgets (larger app icons that auto-update), and "live" (interactive, moving) backgrounds. More apps are also free for android (70% of all apps), and there are a ton of different models. Some have huge screens (5.3"), some have tiny screens (3"), some have duel cores, some have single cores. Some are ultra thin, some are bricks.

For a top-level android device, cost-wise, it will cost you almost as much as the latest iPhone model. iPhones are better devices for mobile gaming, as they have the most apps, with much better quality apps (because android apps need to worth for even the low-end phones). The downside to this, is that only 1/4 of all iPhone apps are free, and many of those are demo apps. The iPhone is highly secure, whileas Android's open source lets hackers and (inexperienced developers) install viruses, or somehow damage your phone.

Overall, the iPhone is a better mobile gaming system, and android gets sh*t done. Many androids have better battery life, and functionality (less dropped calls, pre-installed Google docs, gmail, maps, etc). Some of the best android phones out there are: Galaxy S 2, Galaxy Nexus, Droid Razr Maxx, Rezound.

verizon iphone vs droid?

Q. hey! so my my mom gets a new phone tomorrow. she currently has the second droid that ever came out.
she's been having a TON of problems with her droid in the past two years! example: email not working, phone breaking, touch screen not working.
i have an iphone and LOVE it.

so my question is:
should she get the verizon iphone or another verizon droid??

and also:
she doesn't use her gmail at ALL, she only had to make it so she could get the droid.

A. get a new android phone, like the galaxy s2, the one(2011) are far better than the ipone, and with a app called "double twist" you can sync all your itunes music to your android

I prefer android over apple for the reason that its open-source, that means that the majority of the apps are free, and you get more revolutionary and cutting edge apps. And do things are even only barely available on a jail broken iphone
The android market already has 250000 apps- closing in on apple 500000; some say it will surpass it before the year is over. Also any popular iphone game or game adaptation can be found in the android market for free.
Another great thing about android as that if you dont like something (keyboard, homescreen, etc.) it can easily be swapped without jail-breaking, unlike the iphones one-size-fits-all approach.

Other features only on android
Turn-by-turn voice GPS
Better and larger screen
No need to connect to computer to sync
Here is a big one, add a sd card
Live wallpaper
Better calls
4g
More customizable
More powerful hardware
Flash support, watch ALL the online videos

Apple lovers that say that the iphone is made of better quality material? They dont realize that Samsung, an android phone maker, supplys the screen, processor and memory for apple devices, so android has the advantage here.
The iphone is pretty, but not durable, drop it once- it breaks, all that glass around it? That was honestly a mistake. Android manufactures clearly saw that, and decided to do with something a little more durable.

And the iphones retina display is a huge scam. By definition a retina display is one where the human eye cannot distinguish individual pixels. But this is determined by several factors; most important being the distance between the screen and your eyes. The iphones retina distance is 12in, move any closer than that- say 7in and its no longer a retina screen because your eyes can now see the pixels, by that same token, if I move my android phone back, to say 16-17in, amazingly, it becomes a retina screen as well! (feel free to google this)

Also apple never invents anything, all they do is steal old technology, give it a fresh coat of paint and mass advertise it as magical and innovating, thus fooling the mass of the population into believing that apple offers cutting edge technology, that in fact has been around for quite a few years.
So instead of innovating, apple actually hinders technology- after 4 years they still have low-power single core phones, while android, an example of technology in overdrive, has rumored that, after their second year, the release of quad core phones that will surpass even some desktop computers in shear processing power.

Apple should now feel pretty worried; android has passed it in market share
http://www.businessinsider.com/android-iphone-market-share-2011-4

Then apple panics and sues
http://www.dailytech.com/Google+ExCEO+Apple+Doesnt+Innovate+They+Sue/article22190.htm
The funny thing is that apple cant sue for being the first touchscreen or tablet, because they werent,(Nokia fist touch screen, archos first tablet) so instead they sue for much more relevant things like, the rounded icon corners and having a flat screen or the square shape of the phone..

To top it all, if youve seen apples 2011 presentation, they blatantly copied over five "new" features that were previously on android.
http://androidandme.com/2011/06/news/five-features-in-ios-5-that-show-how-apple-is-now-playing-catch-up-to-google/

http://www.droid-life.com/2011/06/06/apple-introduces-ios5-with-notifications-ota-updates-and-tabbed-browsing-android-users-giggle-at-their-late-arrival/
1. Notification bar
2. Twitter integration
3. No need to connect to PC to sync
4. Launch apps from lock screen
5. Tabbed browsing

And not only are they copies, but apple didnt even bother to improve, or change some of them in any way- some even have LESS features than their android counter parts, its basically a cheap imitation with the ever-popular iphone skin.
According to Steve jobs, these "revolutionary" new technologies that android users had since 2007 will be available on IOS5, and it would not surprise me to see some more android features from 2008 on IOS6.But the truly sad part is that due to apples marketing, in a few months, apple lovers will really think that apple invented those features and call android the copycatsyet again.

Though I suppose Google shouldve seen it coming.

What are some cool smart phones?

Q. Need to get one used but can't decide.

It's okay if they are a little old for example I'm diggin the g1.

Tell me a little about the ones thanks

A. For Android phones, I would go with either the Samsung Galaxy S3 or HTC One X. They both have large and very vibrant screens (4.8 inch for samsung and 4.7 inch for HTC) and are very fast and capable. Basically, they are the front runners for Android right now, they can do everything. If you are looking for used, the Galaxy S2 or Galaxy Nexus are great as well.

People will bash iPhones all day long, but the fact of the matter is that they are actually excellent phones. They are very simple and user friendly. They always work and run smoothly. The screen on the iphone is only 3.5 inches but you may prefer the smaller screens. The iphone that is coming out in a few months will probably have a bigger screen (4 inches or so).

Basically, if you like a very customized phone, Android are better because you can do more things and they have much larger screens. iPhones are easy to use and very reliable. It is really a personal choice, you can't go wrong with any of those!

Finding unlocked Android phones under $100?
Q. The current phone I have is from sprint and by the time my prepaid card runs out, I'll probably need a new phone. This phone was only $60, it's a Samsung (dunno what it is EXACTLY). It has a qwerty keyboard, touchscreen, wifi, & 3.5 inch screen. It's an android 2.3. I just want a phone with wifi, a qwerty keyboard (if possible), & a decent size screen. I don't exactly have a big budget either, so preferably I want an android phone around under $100 to $140 at the most.

A. ok i have a smartphone android it has wifi, keyboard, and decent size like u said

i will sell it for $100

Which android phone should i buy within the range of Rs.9000?

Q. i want to buy a android phone...son and need a quick reply..

A. Get Galaxy Y. It's worth it

Should I go for Samsung Galaxy Ace 5830 or Samsung I9003 Super clear LCD or any other?
Q. Dear Friends,

I want to buy an android smartphone within the 20K budget. Within my budget i found samsung galaxy Ace (approx 15K) and I9003 Super Clear LCD(approx 20K).

There are so many phones available in the market within this price range i am confused which one is good value for money. My primary requirement is 2.5-4inch screen, good ram, good processor,3G, etc

Can someone suggest me the right phone who are using above mentioned devices.
You could also suggest other brand like HTC phone within this range.

Thanks

A. If your budget is 20k then you should definitely go for Samsung Galaxy SL-9003. Its a bit toned down version of Samsung Galaxy S 9000 and has a Super LCD in place of AMOLED screen. despite this major change Galaxy SL is still a value buy for 20k. On the other hand galaxy Ace is also a good phone but not comparable to Galaxy SL. Ace has a weaker processor of 800 MHz as compared to Sl`s 1 GHz and has a smaller screen of 3.5 inch as compared to Sl`s 4 inch. At 15k Ace is also a good smart phone. But, if you want to spend 20k for a phone then Galaxy SL is worth that much money. Infact, with a bit of market survey you can get Galaxy SL for as much as 18,500/-. For starters, you can compare the prices on www.mysmartprice.com. If you are ok with stretching your budget with 2-3k, then you can also check out HTC Desire.

Is the verizon droid x the best android phone?

Q. Is it better than the evo or droid 2? I'm confused with all the droid phones. What's does this phone offer that the droid 2 doesn't?

A. As far as hardware specs, it is very similar to the Evo, except it has a better processor. Also, the X will have 8 GB of built-in internal memory.. Software-wise, it has a built-in Blockbuster app that lets your rent and buy movies right on the phone. It also comes with Swype pre-installed

Q. My env1 just broke and i can get a droid incredible now. But 4g might or might not be coming out really soon and a new set of android phones is probaly going to come. Should I wait or not?

A. i think you can get now
Motorola DROID X Android Phone (Verizon Wireless)
A worthy successor to the original Droid, the Android-powered Droid X by Motorola for Verizon Wireless is a pocket-sized home theater with a massive 4.3-inch high-resolution display, HDMI high-definition output with optional cable, and 720p HD video recording capabilities. And the 1 GHz processor provides excellent response for game play, such as the preloaded EA Need for Speed Shift.

How do I unlock a Galaxy X phone w/ android lock pass. If i forgot the pass?

Q. friend of mine forgot her pass pattern. and I've watched several videos on how to unlock the same pattern program but w/ iphones and they have a way you can use your google acc. to unlock it. however this phone doesn't give an option to unlock w/ a google acc. help! XD

A. On Android phones you can activate a feature called pattern lock. This feature can be compared to a Windows computer asking for password after the screen saver kicked in, only instead of a password you use a pattern. You get a screen with 9 dots and you draw a pattern of your choice with 4 of them. If you forget your pattern (or have kids that likes to play with phones) you will after 3 faulty attempts be unable to use the pattern to unlock it. Instead you are asked for your Google account and password (that is setup with the phone of course). This is where the problem starts.

For many, many users providing the username and password wont change a thing. For some people changing the password via a computer has worked but that is uncommon. Most people ends up with a very expensive paperweight. Have no fear, there are solutions to almost everything!

Update

Some workarounds to try before reading ahead:
1. try entering null as password. (together with your google username)
2. try entering your username without @gmail.com
3. Combine 1 and 2
4. Call yourself from another phone, answer, without hanging up press the home button, then menu button, settings, try to disable pattern-lock
5. Call yourself from another phone, answer, hang-up, directly after hanging up start pressing your buttons like a madman for <30-60 seconds ending with your home button (might take a while to get the timing right). Go into settings and disable pattern-lock.
6. Try the normal recover password routine from GMail.com and start over from 1.
7. Perform a factory reset. YOU WILL LOOSE all not-synced DATA (SD card will be left untouched).
1-6 are possible workarounds, these doesnt work for everyone but can be worth a try to avoid factory reset. 6. is what should work but hardly never does. 7 The factory reset always work

why are all the android phones copies of the Iphone?
Q. Please don't get all harsh, I know that android was in production at the same time as OS for the iphone but can we think about it. Look at all the new phones... they all look like the Iphone, and the app pages look exactly the same. But they just can't get the touch screen to be any good... and it seems that google has been copying everything lately.. making a computer os that looks about the same as OSX, the Google TV, I mean for God sake they even called it the same thing.... when apple clearly had the apple TV, and when the Iphone OS came out, as did Android... just saying.. why isn't apple suing?

A. All android phones don't look like iphones. I have a Droid X. It has a 4.3" display that makes an iphone look like a wristwatch.

The HTC Evo and a lot of the others do. I will give you that. But, what are android phones supposed to be? Triangle shaped? A phone is basically a phone.

As for operating systems, the basic difference is Apple treats theirs as if you need a security clearance to customize, or write an app for it. That's not even to mention refusing to "allow" Adobe Flash, or Java on their browser, or refusing to allow iphone users to do simple things like download YouTube videos to their phone memory.

When it comes down to it, you don't "own" an iphone, you use it. You own an android phone and you can upgrade memory and battery, enter text on your touchscreen with Swype, download 3rd party music, and on and on.

Iphones are nice. Just not something I'd spend money on.

Can an "unlocked" android phone connect to WiFi?
Q. If I buy a new unlocked android cell phone, can I connect Wi-Fi?
And would I be able to use an app like ''Text-Plus'' to text and make phone calls, when I'm in Wi-Fi range?

The situation is, I don't use my phone outside of my house very much. So if i just had a basic android phone that had a calling app (text-plus, Google voice, etc.) I think it would work perfect for me, and i wont have to pay a monthly phone bill.

Note: I do not plan on getting a SIM card... if i don't have to.

Thank you for any help!
Don't comment with something that's NOT an answer! if you have no information that will help me, I don't need it. Simple as that!
will it work even if i get something with android v2.2?
Thank you so much!

A. Im using a unlocked android phone right now so the answer is yes.

I've also been using my phone for wifi and using a free calling app, instead of paying $100.00 a month phone bill. The app I use to make calls is magic jack. I go to the play store (app store) and type in "free calls" in the search bar, and magic jack is towards the top of the list.

To turn on your wifi, go to your phone menu, click on setting, then click on wireless & networks. After clicking on wireless & networks, go to wifi settings and click on your account name and type in your password, then click connect. Also make sure you have a "check" in the Network Notification box under Wireless & Networks along with a check in the WiFi box.

What should i do? Buy a new iPod touch and a cheap phone, or an expensive smartphone?
Q. I really don't know what to do. I have been saving for a new iPod touch 32 GB 4th generation, but then my phone broke. I was looking around the web and found android phones. They look cool, can play some apps like iPod, is a phone and can watch films. Now they are fantastic but there expensive. I know apps will look better on the new retina display of the iPod, but the android phones are really good also. I only have 200 euro now and i can have a budget of about 300 euro (Price of iPod).
In the android phone i want:
WIFI
BIG HI RES TOUCH SCREEN
CAN PLAY APPS LIKE iPOD
PRE-PAY
WILL WORK ON IRISH NETWORK (O2, VODAFONE)

Now people are going to say the HTC Wildfire, but that cant play apps like iPod (im talkin about apps like asphalt)

Please give me advice, and an android model phone if possible! Thanks in advance!
If you look i said "In the android phone i want: PRE-PAY (Not bill pay) ... please know what you are saying is actually answering the question before!!

A. buy the ipod and cheap phone because with a smart phone, you have to pay the data plan and that is really expensive especially in the long run. Just think how much you'll be paying a year for data plan. So the ipod touch with a phone is way better. No data plan=success

Q. Would you choose Iphone or Android and why! Whats so good about, what sucks about it !

A. iPhone sucks compared to 2013 flagships of Android.

Battery Life:
The Galaxy S4 and HTC One have been rated to last an entire day if you use it moderately, if you play games, etc, don't expect them to last long!

iPhone 5's battery is puny compared to these phones, but it lasts around the same time. Web browsing time is better though since the Web Browser is better optimised in iOS than in Android.

Performance:
HTC One and Galaxy S4. More cores, better architecture (Krait 300 and Cortex-A15 vs Apple's modified thing)

Still, iPhone is smooth. But Android phones will last longer.

Display:
HTC One: 1920x1080 resolution SLCD3 4.7' display (469 ppi), One of the best displays ever made (General consensus on review sites).
Galaxy S4: 1920x1080 resolution SAMOLED 5' display (441 ppi), Super Amoled HD is nice, blacks are deep and take up no power.
iPhone 5: 1136x640 resolution 'Retina' IPS LCD 4' display (326 ppi), Although nice on iPhone 4, the screen is nothing compared to newer screens from HTC and Samsung.

Need I say more?

Android VS iOS:
Android offers customisability out of the box, Jailbreaking iPhones makes it slow down over time. (due to mobilesubstrate add-ons required to keep the Jailbreak there.)

-Jailbreaking is getting harder, iOS 6.1.3 has NO jailbreak. Likely iOS 7 won't have one either. iOS 6 took almost half a year to jailbreak.

Android is flexible, rooting does not slow it down, once support is dropped, you can still upgrade to latest version of Android if the guys at XDA support your device well enough. (The first Google collab. device, Nexus One has been seen running Android 4.2, the final official release was 2.3).

Build Quality
Oh dear. The iPhone usually wins this category by miles over Android.

Not this year.

The iPhone 5 is prone to bending and scuffs, probably due to the thin (and very thin) aluminium. Good build quality? I don't think so.

Whilst Samsung is still making their phones out of plastic (which I don't like and Galaxy S2 was the best device Samsung produced in my opinion (I still own it)) it is still strong and doesn't bend or break easily, but scratches easily.

HTC One is the first Android device to match the iPhone in build quality (Anandtech) and design. That means there is no gap between Android and iPhone anymore. iFans, do not claim Androids are pieces of plastic and enjoy your bendy piece of metal.

Price:
Android phones can range from cheap to downright expensive. But you're still getting fairly good (even latest gen, albeit slower) hardware with cheaper phones. Cheap iPhones are leftover last generation devices. Want a cheap 4' iPhone? You can only get the iPhone 5.

Features:
Samsung is the king of features right now, but I call them gimmicks (like S-Voice, blatant rip-off of Siri, and touch-less touch screen, useful if you use gloves, not useful in Australia).

iPhone's features are good, except for Maps (which is broken, Australian towns don't show up 75% of the time) and Passbook (which I find useless) and there are still no Widgets.

The other Android phones have their 'features' but I usually root and install AOKP on them as soon as I get them (I like unicorns).

There, pitfalls and upsides of Android and iPhone.

I would choose an Android for a phone and an iPad for a tablet. You get the best of both worlds that way.

Android phone photo help?

Q. My phone is an android phone. It have that 3D gallery app pre-installed in it. I was hoping someone could help me because i wanna orginize my photos into groups/folders. Do you know any apps that i could get that are free? Because i don't want to have to go through my phone files on the computer and make new folders. So do you know any good ones? I have already tried "Photo Gallery (Fish Bowl)" , "phorginizer" and "F-stop media gallery"
Thanks :)

A. I first want to admit my bias for F-Stop Media Gallery since I am the owner of Seelye Engineering (the maker of F-Stop). With that said, F-Stop Media Gallery is far and away the best media organizer on Android. Organization can be accomplished using folders, tags, ratings, albums, and smart albums.

F-Stop currently allows you to group your images in folders but takes the traditional route by displaying only the folder that contains the media -- not the folder structure. We will soon have the feature of being able to browse your content and still maintain the folder structure (which is what I think you are describing).

We are working on this app full-time and are continually adding new features and improvements. Until then, consider using tags for your media and then use albums and smart albums to create the organization you need. We just added the feature "Nested Albums" which allows you to create albums inside of albums (similar to a folder structure). This is a paid feature but very powerful.

Please contact us at support@fstopapp.com if you need any help.

Regards,
Jason Seelye

How do I update my Evo 3D Android phone?

iPhone or Android Phone?

Q. So I am going to get a new phone in a few weeks, but I dont know which one to get. I am debating between the iPhone or an Android phone like HTC Aria. So which one do you think is better (price-wise and quality) and why? Also I know that Android is an operating system. What are some good Android phones? I want one that is touch screen, has a keyboard, and is not huge, but for AT&T.

A. Get an android phone.try sony ericson xperia pro or mini pro.android is customisable and has a better market.

iOS 5 vs Android: what is your opinion?
Q. Which is better? If you could choose between an iPad 2 and an awesome Android tablet, which would you choose? What about iPhone vs Android phones?

What I'm really trying to ask is: Are Apple products the best like most people say? I prefer Android, but then again, I have never used an iPhone or iPad.

A. well to be honest with you both android phones has its pros and cons and iphones have the pros and cons, it really depends on the person. so far i have had the iphone 4 and i now have the htc mytouch 4.

when i had my iphone 4 i love the picture quality and the video recording was amazing i mean the picture and video quality was the best i have ever seen till this day. not only the the battery life on iphone 4 was amazing compared to what i have seen on most android phones.i like the fact that u could watch netflix on the iphone 3 3g 3gs and 4 because i am a movie head and i want to be able watch some shows or movies on the go. that was also a major thing that i liked about the iphone4. the sound quality was pretty cool, but the only complaints i would say was that u couldn't freely update the flash for web browsing like till this day you cant view and play videos on certain websites on the iphone but those same website can be viewed on the droid without complication . i mean iphone it is the best phone out there most phones don't compare to me.

the mytouch 4g is a cool phone for an android phone, i mean you don't need to have itunes to put your music and videos in it witch is great because you just drag and drop. there are more aps on the android market than there is on the app store but the app store to me have apps that matter. maybe its just me but when i found out that android did not have a netflix app i was disappointed. because the netflix app was the only app that i use on a regular basis. but maybe its just me. I also like thate you can select many media players from the android market to play your music or videos from certain websites which is cool. i actually found an app on the android market for vlc player which alows you to play mkv files. the android phones has many customizable feature to it like the theme, the back ground, the video player and many more you can change at free will without hacking or doing all the excessive procedures to it to get what you want it to look like. the one very bad that i will say about android phone is the battery life sucks be prepared to always run the charge your phone when ever you use certain key features like background data, android market, web browsing. the battery life its nothing compared to the iphone trust me on that. but like i said it depends on the user.

if apple wasn't so stuck to att and verizon, i would love to get a no contract plan with my iphone but since droid phones have a lot of phone that you can pretty much connect with multiple providers and gain full access to its features then i would stay with the android till iphone has something else other than verizon and att.

How to make an android phone run faster?

Q. I have an xperia arc! I know thats old! But my dad wont just let me use an iphone while everyone in my family has iphone 5!im just too young! (13) ok! So how do u make it faster! Like the way it was! when it was bought! I have installed cache cleaner and task killer etc. So how do u make it run faster! I don't have a lot of apps! But loads of pictures ob SD!

A. hi ,

1. Remove Unnecessary Home Screen

Typically Android phones come with default of 5 home screens. The newer smartphones feature up to 7 home screens, which we think is overkill. This will simply kill your phones RAM, and reduce efficiency. Set only those many Home Screens as required
2. Remove Unnecessary Widgets

Widgets may be useful, but Android users tend to overdue it sometimes. It is recommended that you use minimum number of widgets possible, so as to get maximum efficiency.
3. Do Not Use Live Wallpapers

Live Wallpapers are a huge resource hog, and their novelty wears of pretty soon. Stick to static wallpapers and see the huge performance boost which you will get.
4. Uninstall Any Glitchy Apps

Some poorly coded apps can create havoc to the Android OS. You will think that you have a hardware problem, when in reality, there is an underlying software which is slowing everything down.
5. Do Not Use Task Killers

People have a misconception that task killers make their phones faster. But nothing is truer than the opposite. Task killers mess with system programs by shutting them down, and your phone has to work hard to reload them all over again. This effects not only performance, but battery also.
6. Use a Different Launcher

The Launchers which are built into the phones are typically poor in interface as well as speed. We suggest installing a different launch such as Launcher Pro, or ADW Launcher, which will give you a visual boost in performance.
7. Move Apps to SD Card

Too many apps on the phones internal memory can make your phone lag. Moving your apps from your phones internal memory to an SD card will help free up phone memory and give a performance boost.

8. Update to Latest Version Of Android

The newer versions of Android give much better performance than the older versions. It is recommended that you upgrade to the latest version of Android which your phone supports, so as take advantage of the newest changes which have occurred in the Mobile OS.

9. Installing a Custom ROM

Installing a custom ROM such as Cyanogenmod, or MIUI can give your phone a major performance increase, as they will remove any bloatware, and have better launchers and essential apps to boot. This may be advanced, but will give one of the biggest performance boost, and it the best way to harness the most of your phones hardware

10. Root and Overclock

Another Advanced method is to root your phone, and then overclock it, with softwares such as SetCPU. This will reduce battery life, but give a major increase in speed. You should be careful, so as to avoid bricking your phone. Softwares such as Once Click Lag Fix for Samsung Galaxy S can also give a major performance boost after rooting.

How to unlock android galaxy?

Q.

A. There is several bits of software out there, however often this type of software is riddled with viruses and even keyloggers. My suggestion is to take it to a local phone shop who will usually do it for around £30

Does anyone know a good free website for a android phone or laptop to hack a facebook?
Q.

A. No... Firstly, 'hacking a facebook' is illegal if you mean hack in its dictionary definition. More likely, you probably want to phish or use a keylogger to obtain a password for someone else facebook account. Anyway, there are no free websites which will do this. Any you find online will probably be a virus site or such.
