Q. I'm ordering a straight talk phone either on Monday or Tuesday... I'm either getting the huawei ascend plus, or Galaxy Centura. Both run android 4.0. I read online that if you hold thepower + down vol button on at the same time it will take a screenshot.I just want a confirmation of that! Thank you!

A. As far as I know, that's correct. That method worked on my Android 4.0 tablet, and my last phone, and my current phone (all different brands).

Q. i want to upgrade to the latest version of android on my htc desire v. pls tell me what steps i need to follow to get the latest version of android OS on my phone. pls give me detailed steps. i checked for software updates and currenty none are available.
A. There are certainly ways to update your phone to the latest Android version like rooting. However officially for the HTC Desire V, it seems like that the latest version of Android for that phone is Android 4.0. Doesn't look like HTC will send out any Android update to your phone anytime soon.
