How do I transfer files through a LAN network between an android phone and a PC?

Q. How do I share/browse/transfer files between android phones and PCs? I have a Wireless Router and the devices are connected to the network. My set up is basically Internet Cable>Modem>Router>Devices. It would be best if I could browse and pick what I transfer remotely between both the phones and a phone and the computer. Are there any apps/programs that do this or better yet, can this be set up without using a third party app?
I need to transfer movies (300-1000mb usually), photos, music and .lua files.

A. On the phone, go to Google Play Store and download and install "WiFi File Transfer" or "WiFi File Transfer Pro". The former is free but has a limit on the maximum file size, while the latter is a paid-for App but does not have the size limit.

Run the App and it will display a URL. Enter this URL in the browser on another device (phone or computer) and it will allow you to upload or download files between the devices.

I use the Pro version on all my Android devices. One purchase covers all of them. Try the free version to see if you like it. You can uninstall it if you are not impressed.

I hope this helps.

How to get Minecraft Pocket Edition on Unsupported Android Device?
Q. So, I have the Samsung Galaxy Precedent and its a pretty nice phone, except that Minecraft PE is not supported on my phone. Its running 2.2.2 Froyo and no it came bought with that version of android. I did not root my phone yet because I have been having some problems trying to do so. But GTA 3 is also unsupported but I got that to work by downloading a old version of the app. I tried the same thing with Minecraft but still no luck. And yes I have tried downloading the apk file but it says "Problem Parsing The Package" So any help that actually works will be very much appreciated! Thanks

A. Get a new phone, that is all I can say.
