How much does it cost to pay off a phone contract?

Q. I would like to pay off my phone contract, even though i just got a phone i dont really like it. Does anybody know of an Android phone that slides up AND is touch screen? Itd be nice if it was from verizon because verizon is my carrier. i have a blackberry curve 3g and i dont like it. does anybody know what i can do?

A. An ETF (Early Termination Fee is 350-375$)

It depends if you mean a Portrait sliding QWERTY board or a Landscape sliding QWERTY board.. and as of now there are none Landscape sliding QWERTY Android phones.

Devices with a sliding Keyboard that are running Android on Verizon are..
-Motorola Droid (NOT available through Verizon anymore, only Motorola Device using Stock Android (meaning a less laggy experience.. since it's not filled with Motorola's Clunky UI), Android 2.2.. maybe getting 2.3 (not likely though))
-Motorola Droid 2 (NOT available through Verizon anymore)
-Motorola Droid 2 Global (Best specced available KB Android.. 3.7 in screen, TFT LCD Display (800x480 res) 1.2ghz TI OMAP Processor, uses Motorola's MotoBLUR UI, which let's you have resizable widgets from them that may have some use to you.. not as intrusive as the MotoBLUR on the Devour, Android 2.2(?) (The processor clock-speed and the Global abilities are the differences between this and the Droid 2.)
-Motorola Devour (Don't pick this device.. run's an outdated version of Android.. (1.6 to be exact.. and worse specced)
-LG Ally (600 mhz Processor.. due for FroYo/currently on 2.1 (Android 2.2) soon/or has it.. run's LG's custom UI.)

Devices with a non-sliding Keyboard running Android on Verizon are..
-Droid Pro (3.2 in TFT LCD display (480x320 Res), 1Ghz TI OMAP Processor, Global possibilities like the Droid 2 Global, also uses MotoBLUR, Android 2.2)

On verizon, would I have to pay large termination fees to downgrade from my droid to my old phone?
Q. I recently got a new android phone with my 2 year contract. However, the data plan is expensive and I'm going to college next year so I need to save as much money as possible. Is it at all possible to reactivate my old simple keyboard phone but keep my new one without paying hefty termination charges? If not, how much would it cost? I know I obviously would not be able to use the droid's 3G/4G functions anymore, but I was planning on using it as an old replacement for my old ipod. Thanks!

A. Yes, all you do is type in meid from back of phone into your my Verizon account to switch to ur old phone, n you can sell ur Droid make some money,
