Will virgin mobile usa get any new android phones for christmas 2011? ?

Q. I have the samsung intercept (which btw worst phone ever).........and I don't like the design of the motorola triumph so I'm holding out until vmusa gets better phones.

A. For any new phones coming out soon for the USA market with their monthly plan to my knowledge is no. The last phone to come out was the HTC Wildfire S a couple weeks ago. Rumors of more phones point to no more phones until February or later 2012. You never know what a company is up to though........

what cell phone carriers will be getting the iphone?
Q. iv heard many people talking about this. that soon apple is going to make the iphone available to more carriers then just at&t.

does anyone know which carriers they will be to?
i realllly hope verizon will get a second chance at getting it! :)

A. First off keep in mind that each country has a different arrangement. Some countries don't even allow "exclusive" carriers in the first place. I can only speak for the US. Here Apple has just extended their exclusive agreement with AT&T for another 2 years meaning it ends in 2012. So nobody else is getting the iPhone before 2012. I doubt Verizon will get an iPhone, since their ads are saying how Android does everything it can't, Apple probably isn't too fond of Verizon right now. Verizon doesn't like the idea of handing control of the phone (OS, support, ect) over to Apple, which is why they turned Apple down originally. Regardless, as I said nobody besides AT&T will have the iPhone before 2012.

The rumors likely are from people mistaking the Apple netbook in development for Verizon's network as a Verizon iPhone (well that and people stating their "hopes" and "facts"). It's not a phone, so it doesn't break the AT&T contract. That is likely coming out in 2010.

And in response to the guy posting about jailbreaking, that will only allow the iPhone to run on other GSM networks (T-Mobile), it will not run on Verizon - ever. Verizon uses CDMA and thus it would require different hardware to run. Plus you loose access to official updates and support.
